    New Phantom coming in 2019?

Hi Britanny, What do you mean by "now". I was able to have my order shipped to Canada before. I just have to pay a ton of shipping-related fees. What's changed? EDIT: Oh you mean just the Prince racquets.

Synthetic gut Mains / Polyester Crosses Club

Has anybody compared syngut/poly vs syngut full bed in terms of spin? I haven't tried syngut/poly yet but I have tried full syngut before and if I use my regular forehand strokes I would dump everything to the bottom of the net. Yes, literally bottom of the net. I have to make a big...

    Völkl C10 Pro Club!

Yes. As you have suspected, racquet two could just be a stringing error. You could save yourself the hassle by just cutting out the strings on racquet two and have it restrung. Frame is new. I doubt any harm was done (but I could be wrong). Then just ask for a discount from TWE for the...

Another quick check would also be measuring the length. Racquet should be 27 inches long after stringing.

Racquet One looks right to me. I have one unstrung at home and could give you the exact dimensions after work if you're interested.

    Völkl C10 Pro Club!

Have not really paid attention to the subject of changing pallets in the past. But in case I'd be interested, where can I buy them?

Saw it. 4 5/8 no go :( Saw the others.

    Völkl C10 Pro Club!

My favorite is the 2013 version (which I only have one) compared to the 2015 and 2017 (which are the same). The 2015 and 2017 just feels "hollow" ish. The 2013 is solid. But they're no deal breaker to me. But if I can find the fishnet version I will definitely get one (see my wife is right...

    Völkl C10 Pro Club!

I know. Who are they fooling :) But it's still a C10 Pro and I just wanted different paint jobs so I know which one I'm using. Would be amazed if they do a treatment like they did to V-Feel.

I don't want to overstate, but Gut/Poly will cure all your life problems.

We do have outdoor public clay courts but they're at least an hour's drive so I really can't go there on a regular basis. We have hartru courts within a 10 minute drive but belong to a club and they're outside. I need to get invited to play or be a millionaire to join :)

Snap back is from the Main. So, why is Gut the main in hybrid?

I like your explanation a lot. I do. But then I got to thinking about synthetic gut or multis. These strings just don't do anything for me. The ball just "slides" across the string bed and couldn't seem to grab anything causing me to dump balls to the net on first couple of hits. To get the...

    Völkl C10 Pro Club!

I have 4 C10 Pros now. Just traded in my brand-new unused Prince POG 107 yesterday to get my 4th and final (my wife doesn't believe me) C10 Pro racquet purchase. This is it for me. No more waffling over racquets now. C10 Pro is it. But I do have an Organix 10 325 which I've been trying to...

I don't want to overstate, but Gut/Poly will cure all your life problems.

Oh totally. I had held off doing gut/poly because I just couldn't believe it was that good. But I just did (first time) and now I believe. But as I said, I'd do anything to play on clay.

    verdict on wise tension head?

I wouldn't probably worry too much if I live in California where Dan lives :) But I live in Canada :(

    verdict on wise tension head?

Not sure what model you have but according to Dan (vendor) model 12 (which I have) and 14 have been improved to be able to deal with O-Port frames. I like to believe him but I still won't do it simply because it would still cause unnecessary stress on the gripper I think. I have also read from...

    Best natural gut currently

@aaron_h27 for a high-level player like you (5.0) you must be hitting pretty much harder and getting more mileage per unit of time than us people at the 4.0-4.5 level. Players your level would be changing strings at about 8 hours using polys. So I thought 25 hours at least for a 5.0 player is...

I don't want to overstate, but Gut/Poly will cure all your life problems.

I play hardcourts but I would gladly not play gut/poly in exchange for playing on clay :)

I don't want to overstate, but Gut/Poly will cure all your life problems.

As I've mentioned before it took me three tries before I got adjusted to it. Don't think it was the strings. If anything the whole stringbed would have probably softened due to poly cross losing tension. It was "you" who have adapted.

I don't want to overstate, but Gut/Poly will cure all your life problems.

This is exactly how much I strung mine on my Volkl C10 Pro and I had the same experience. I started to get comfortable on the third session. EDIT: In my case I would start at 58/55 the next time.

C10 pro vs ultra tour, help

I did demo the 93P. It wasn’t bad but you may have to do a bit of tweaking with the strings or some lead to make it play right. Otherwise the size and 18x20 pattern will make your life harder. If I didn’t have 3 C10s already I might go for it. But for me the C10 just offers a better ride. Mine...

C10 pro vs ultra tour, help

The C10 has everything. Power, comfort, maneuverability, feel, spin, and stability. Once you get used to it you'll never be happy with any other racquets.

I don't want to overstate, but Gut/Poly will cure all your life problems.

I'm surprised that on my first try I wasn't too impressed. I find myself starting with it then switch to poly/syngut after about 10 minutes of hitting (no match play). Yes comfort is there. Spin is quite impressive too. But not as accurate/controllable as my poly/syngut. I strung it with...

    Best Practice for string charges?

I charge $15. For nat gut, additional $10. I go really slow and careful with nat gut. So it takes longer.

I charge same labor for all regardless of size and string types and combo except for nat gut hybrid or full.

    Debut of New Racquet Finder

It's a very useful tool indeed but it has an annoying trait. It doesn't exclude those that are no longer available. So the search results is always cluttered by "bad" data. When you do a lot of searching it becomes a bit of a nuisance. No big deal to me though. I understand that TW staff...

I live in Siberia and I can't test rackets. What should I buy? Wilson, Head, Tecnifibre?

Have you looked at the Prince 93P? A bit lighter than the RF97 but swings so much faster. Good control racquet because of its 18x20 pattern. Power and spin easy to generate. EDIT: Oh you did mention not going below 97-98. I use a 98 too but have no problem with the 93P.
