I play full bed v in my k7s, works well. I have a slight preference for the black, although that puts me in the minority around here. Tbh there isn't a huge amount of difference between the two. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

Return of Serve - Ready on Forehand or Backhand?

Definitely agree with this, my doubles partner and I spend a lot of our practice time working purely on serves and returns.

Return of Serve - Ready on Forehand or Backhand?

That's what one of my regular playing partners does, looks a bit odd but seems to work for him. The problem with using a continental then switching depending on which side the serve comes to, is that you always have to adjust. I receive serve using my standard SW forehand grip, then I only have...

Would be good to know if handle is pallets or moulded (think you said the latest K7 Red has pallets). Thinking about getting one for my wife, but if she doesn't get on with it I'd probably use it. Would rather swap out pallets than build up grip (would be from a 2 to a 4). Does Paul even sell...

Looking forward to seeing how it plays, got a friend who's a staunch pd user but finally succumbed to pretty severe tennis elbow so trying to think of viable alternatives for him. I know you've tried the clash too which is another one I've said to consider. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

Wilson QC Fails Yet Again, Despite Paying Extra For Matched Racquet Specs!

The DIY method of measuring SW is easy to get slightly wrong and that can have a big impact on the number you come up with. I'd try and get them measured properly. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

    New Angell: ASL3!

. He was talking about the SW (285) not the static weight

What's the SW of the TC100? Think the other TCs usually come in around 330? ASL should be around 315 strung, so there's a fairly big difference. I'd love to try all the Angell range, shame they don't demo! Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

I think the PJ looks good, not sure how blue and silver are particularly feminine colours but to each their own I guess! Not the sort of specs I'd gravitate to, but seems like a good alternative for something like a beast, or a more arm friendly PD. Would definitely be intrigued to have a hit...

That's a fair bit of lead...SW somewhere around 345? Have you hit with it in that setup yet? We need more specs - final static weight, balance etc!

More power, more control and better comfort over the K7 Red? Seems surprising from just a tighter string pattern, need to give mine another go!

Can switching racquets lead to elbow pain?

What have you been doing to fix it? Tennis elbow should never take a year to recover. Sent from my Pixel 2 using Tapatalk

What tensions are people using in hybrid setups with V in the mains? I'm going to use Monogut ZX in the crosses. Usually string V at 54/52 or 55/53...

Yeah unstrung should be around 290 (all my K7s are 290) so 320 strung would be about right

My K7 Reds are from mid July and early August 2018. Neither of them are remotely what I’d call stiff, they’re way softer than my DR98 and Pro Kennex Q Tour. More comparable to the Prince Phantom 100 I was trying for a while. I wonder if this is a perception issue or a quality control one...

    Doubles: Calling an Audible.

I’d have gone for it - if your opponent is hanging out near the middle of the court and you push a serve out wide your partner should have more than enough time to realise what’s happening and react accordingly.

Anyone tried this TopSpinPro training aid?

See them used quite a bit with juniors, not sure how useful they’d be for anyone that can already hit well. So, depends on your level I guess.

    Customizing racquets via lead tape

If this is aimed at me (can only assume that since you quoted me), you seem a little confused by what I wrote. I said no such thing. I simply implied that making a racket more headlight will generally make it feel more manoeuvrable.
