The Greatest Grass Courter CANNOT be 0-3 in SW19 Finals Against a Rival (or anyone)

Decent forehand, but doesn't compare to Roddick's old forehand. Backhands both kinda suck. Better volleys than Roddick, but not saying much Spamming, eh? You've got 850 posts in a month. You're going to eclipse my post count if your account survives a full year. And really, if Goran had...

The Greatest Grass Courter CANNOT be 0-3 in SW19 Finals Against a Rival (or anyone)

Man, I like Goran a lot and he was obviously a nightmare to play on grass, but he doesn't have "weapons" other than his serve. Don't even try to push that kinda nonsense. Second part of your post is also ironic because you're here posting about Federer from when you wake up until 2 in the...

It's literally easier to beat Nadal on clay than to get a PS5!! (rage post)

There aren't even that many good games for it yet so don't feel too frustrated. Demon's Souls is probably the best and that's just an HD remaster, and then there's the Spiderman game I guess? My brother was able to get one early.

    Diary of a Racketaholic

Think the Blade needs the leather grip treatment. Feeling a little sluggish on forehands and I'm thinking that may be part of the reason why I'm spraying more on that side. Unfortunately the Wilson ones are hard to get at the moment. I've tried those and also the Head leather grips, and for...

Here's the thing. He's a better player than pretty much everyone on the boards. His feeling and opinions on sticks may not match up with what the rest of us feel. I referred back to his 97HD review somewhere else, because to him it felt head heavy. I have seen only one other person make that...

    Diary of a Racketaholic

Yeah that's something else I should have considered. I am definitely surprised with the feel though. Others have said this one is a bit stiff or brassy/tin feeling, and it doesn't feel at all that way to me. It also still feels nice even when hitting outside the sweetspot.

    Diary of a Racketaholic

Diggin the feel of the 2013 Blade. Wasn't able to get quite dialed in today though. Opponent was probably a 4.5 or high 4.0 and I was just outmatched a bit. One of the bigger servers I've played against too. I did okay enough playing far back and trying to get my returns deep, but made way...

Out of Ideas on what to try next

Might not get quite the balance you want, but not just throw a leather grip on the Blade? I'm also going to agree with poster above me, the 97hd should not feel sluggish. I know Karue who everybody here seems to be obsessed with now had mentioned it felt head heavy, but I don't recall anyone...

2012 RG semi final is the decisive Djokovic - Federer RG match.

And less than a month later Federer beat Djokovic along the way to winning Wimbledon. I'm not sure what the point of this thread is.

So the Blade reissue is being dubbed v6 it seems, but no 18x20. Has the countervail paint, but no countervail + has parallel drilling of the 2015s. https://www.tennis-warehouse.com/Wilson_Blade_98_16x19_v6/descpageRCWILSON-BL98V.html While I'm on the subject of the Blade 16x19 though, had my...

Who is your favourite single-slam winner?

I think Gaudio for me. Goran provided a lot of entertainment value, but I find Gaudio relatable for some reason. Apparently he suffered from depression throughout parts of his career and that's something I've dealt with in the past. And the obligatory pretty backhand comment.

Jack Sock trying to get partnered on Twitch

Plenty of people are Twitch partners and just streaming on the side or after work. Doesn't necessarily mean he's diving into it trying to make a full time streaming career. I could be wrong though. He doesn't seem all that interesting though. Without a huge following to support him...

97HD is  Mine's currently sitting in the bag, but I may be having a 3 racquet shootout where I'll decide if I want to switch away or not. Have an old 2013 Blade 18x20 coming and my beat up 2015 Blade 16x19 that I'll try to decide between. Have had some ups and downs with my game...

Could be feeling different for any number of reasons. Maybe strings have lost texture/tension/gone dead. I would say the weather shouldn't be that big of a deal and that you're overthinking it. The other problem is that there are too many variables coming into your game with the amount of...

    Diary of a Racketaholic

None of us really understood why Wilson lumped the Ultra Tour in with that line. Not even remotely in the same spectrum of racquets. The Ultra Tours are like low 60 if I remember correctly, maybe 63. Basically you have a stiff Babolat clone vs a much softer platform stick (they need lead...
