So I messed with it last night, and I believe it could be the spring that's gone bad? Could this be accurate? I took it apart as far as I was willing out of fear I would make ruin it and not be able to string my rackets haha.

Okay looking closer, it appears the screws are different. I feel as if the guy who sold it to may have replaced it with a longer screw? They are nothing alike in appearance... and the washer is non existent...

Recently just bought a used Neos 1000. Love it, but I'm having issues turning it. There's a circular metal disc underneath that seemed to get caught on a screw. So I took the screw out... Now the disc turns and knocks into the machine itself, and I have to pull the disc around just to turn it...

I always had elbow issues, and started hybriding with a multi. Seemed to work but the bed obviously played a bit different. I have been using a Lux BBO/Prince Attack hybrid and had 0 elbow problems. Tension maintenance is a separate issue.

Yes, thank you. Sorry it wasn't clear. I've used a drop weight. It's time consuming and not precise enough for me. I sold my Alpha String Pal because of it. Now... I've used a Neos 1000 and it's great comparative to my DW. My thought process: Spend 1000 plus on a Neos 1000 or something...
