    Introducing Grapplesnake USA!!!

Alright so I've finally got some quality time with this string with drills and match points. I strung it up at 53 lbs in my Yonex Vcore 97 330g with leather grip. My original go to string has been the Grapplesnake CES/Liquid Neon at 50/53 lbs. 1-10 scale, with 1 being the lowest and 10 being...

    Introducing Grapplesnake USA!!!

Has anyone tried CES Neon Dust with Irukandji yet? Is this a viable combo or is CES best paired with Liquid Neon Dust?

How long do you wait before you get rid of (missing) customers' racquets?

Well I've tried to get in touch with someone to get his racket back numerous times. He never showed up and it's been over a year so I just gave the racket to a friend. The person didn't miss his racket enough to ask for it back so *shrug*.

Anything wrong with this string job?

Probably was bought as a cheap knockoff.

Anything wrong with this string job?

All those stringing videos are making me cringe so hard.

    Introducing Grapplesnake USA!!!

Any word on those stencils yet @Grapplesnake USA Official ? ;) I'm gonna be grabbing a reel of string of the CES Cube and liquid neon soon. Any suggestions on other string setups to put in a Yonex Vcore Pro 97 330g that has a 16 x 19 pattern?

what is the purpose of power pads?

Ty! Appreciate the detailed examples! It definitely makes sense when you were describing the Babolat Woofer grommets. I would be using this on rackets like the Head Intelligence that has the sharp bends at the lower outside grommets and some on the throat for good measure.

Got it, thanks for the advice!

what is the purpose of power pads?

Just wanted to revive this topic and ask for a suitable replacement since I have no power pads on hand. Would anyone be able to give me a reason NOT to use the remainder of my spare synthetic replacement grip? I was thinking of folding it in half so the grip side is in contact with the string...

How to avoid overlapping crosses when string crosses (Head Speed MP)?

I have used an awl to help make a gap as well and have also used the Gamma Pathfinder Guiding Awl, which helps you get into a tight area and then slide the awl back to allow a string to enter. This makes it simply to pull the string throuhg. Another thing that helps is when you are initially...

    Newbie - Stringing crosses question

Trial and error. Always look ahead to make sure you are weaving correctly up or down first. You should know almost immediately if you are incorrectly weaving on the wring side. Using two different colored strings might help you while you are learning.

How to avoid overlapping crosses when string crosses (Head Speed MP)?

It hasn't been a problem so far but I always make sure to keep an awl in the shared holes after tension has mostly pulled to help the strings situate itself correctly. Another thing to check is the bumper guard. Many times people have had issues with this, I noticed that they're grinding away...

    Gamma tension gauge and digital

Well my Gamma Progression ELS machine can be calibrated and when you do the calibration in #'s, it goes like 22,44,66,88. BUT! if you convert it to KG, then it's 10,20,30,40. Double check your machine settings and it definitely helps to check your Gamma Tenison Calibrator with a digital scale. I...

    Volkl advisory thread.

Once your level of play grows above a 4.0, I feel that anything above 100 sq in doesn't help against higher level players. There are a few players who can make it work but I find it easier hitting with anything within the 95-100 sq-in range.

    Custom Bumper Guard / Grommets

Oof, just thinking about creating those grommet holes and trying to make all those tiny grommet thingies gives me chills. I've suggested to many people that a $10 bumper is much cheaper than a $200 racket but no one seems to believe me as of yet. They won't even do something as simple as head...

    Custom Bumper Guard / Grommets

Just wanted to ask out of curiosity, has anyone come across a way to design custom grommets and/or bumper guards for older rackets? Nowadays it's hard to get some people to switch from their rackets to something new so I wanted to find a way to help protect their rackets as long as possible. If...

    In/Out Device

I have not but seeing the insides of the device, I highly doubt it would survive any impact. I tapped the device and the camera became loose. I barely touched the ribbon cable and it tore. The quality of its build is not promising enough to me.

    Introducing Grapplesnake USA!!!

So after several days of playing with it, I still have not broken the strings. Maybe I need to play harder or I'm not as strong as I once thought. Anyways, this is my experience while playing with this. I was kindly provided a sample set of the CES + Liquid hybrid. This was in my Yonex Duel G...

    Restringing only the crosses

Do what you want with it. As a stringer I would never do this. If I did, guessing the right tension would be a nightmare and there would never be any consistency between rackets.

    Introducing Grapplesnake USA!!!

By the way.... What is a Grapplesnake? @Grapplesnake USA Official . I had that question thrown at me and just thought of two snakes battling. Edit: How different is the Cube Sharp and how does it compare to the regular CES/neon hybrid? Also I want to buy some strings but would also like a T...

    Introducing Grapplesnake USA!!!

If you think about it logically, you most likely have played at a lower tension at some point. For example, when you string up the racket at 55 lbs, it will come off the stringer around that same tension. After a a few hours, the tension drops maybe 2-3 pounds to stabilize. Then as you hit with...

That's great! I'm excited to check it out and promote it! I'm also curious to try out your other strings out but it's going to be hard to top the Neon Hybrid. I do appreciate the name of the Irukandji string. I think you should have more string names that might synergize with a snake theme. If I...
