Does grip size affect racquet performance?

Correction: You must play with what is comfortable for you and gives you the best playing results while remaining injury free.

Does grip size affect racquet performance?

My grip size measures between 4 3/8 and 4 1/2 without an overgrip but I prefer a 4 3/8 without an overgrip or a 4 1/4 with an overgrip. Be aware that overgrips have different thicknesses so it is important to choose the one closest to your comfort zone. I like to have about 3 to 4 millimeters...

    Prince Official - Racquets

Hey Odinn21, the Technifibre HDMX is a nice string for those wanting the best of two world's, control and comfort. There is also ample power for flexible frames. I think you will enjoy this string. It also has really good tension maintenance. Let us know how your new 100x is after you have...

    Prince Official - Racquets

I have been using the Tour 16x18 since it came out and consider it to be my favorite Prince of all times. I have also used the Phantom Pro which is a super frame but now I am playing with the Phantom 100 with the port system. I have it strung with Technifibre HDMX. This setup makes for a very...

Here is a picture of the Phantom Pro and the 03. I really like the paint job on both. The 03 has a gigantic sweet-spot. The Pro has nice control and feel.

Anyone wanting to move from a poly to a multi should really give Technifibre Multifeel black a try. This multi has some playing advantages that make it a good choice for younger and older players who have suffered from injuries. I like this string a lot because of three basic reasons, good...

Prince Phantom Pro and Phantom Pro100P

I have been using the Phantom Pro for about 8 months and have tried a number of Technifibre multifilaments like HDX 17 at 21 kg ( 45 lbs), X-One biphase 18 at 22 kg ( around 47 lbs) and Multifeel black16 at 21 kg (45 lbs). All of these strings performed really well. Power and feel are great...

I am really looking forward to the new frames coming to Europe. I like open pattern string setups but would like to try a little different balance with the Phantom Pro 16x18. I think the frame is great but would like to see it with a weight of 310 or the 305 with a balance of 320. But the frame...

    @@@@@The OFFICIAL Prince EXO3 Tour 100 Club@@@@@

This is a re-issue . I really like the paint-job. It is actually the same scheme as the Textreme Tour P, just with a lighter greenish yellow color. The RA is the same as the original one. Here in Europe RA ratings are given as being stiffer, for instance, the Phantom Pro is rated as having an RA...

Earlier in January one of my students, Christian Sigsgaard, who plays for the Texas Longhorns was home for vacation. We had a really good practice session which allowed me to put my Phantom Pro through a rigorous test. Christian is at present the number 4 ranked D1 player in the US. The club...

Ericg thanks. I am happy to hear that you are enjoying this thread. I like X-One a lot and find it is a great string in a fullbed if you hit with moderate topspin or flat. I would start by stringing X-One at between 50 to 55 lbs. If you hybrid, then try stringing the poly at about 2 lbs less...

No. This is not a 100P but a Tour 16x18 with a lime green and black paint job. There is a Textreme 100P with Twaron coming . There is also a 16x18 Tour model also with Twaron coming as well. This model is 5 gr. heavier.

I really like both quite a lot. Both strings are very comfortable. Both have good control as well. The Multifeel black 16 seems to offer a slight bit more spin than the HDX, but nothing significant. HDX in a 16x18 pattern is still very spin friendly. I have a supply of both strings. The HDX is...

All of my Phantom Pro's are strung with a fullbed of Multifeel black. I really like TGV. It is one of my all-time favorite strings. Compared to natural gut, I feel that TGV is one of the closest multi's to the gut like feel. But nothing can replace gut for it's elasticity and tension...

Prince Phantom Pro and Phantom Pro100P

Finding the best string for a racquet can be a challenging experience, so testing numerous strings and laying down some hard earned cash is often not an option for the avid tennis enthusiast. I never use polys but have tried a few frames strung with them. I think the spin is really good but...
