    Tecnifibre Official - Racquets

Agree. Almost the same on paper, but TF40 has more power, better feel, better control and it is more maneuverable. Blade 18x20 2015 is one of the best Blades and a great racket, but TF40 305 is its modern version.

    Head Gravity

Firstly, I had Tour myself and then bought GPro. The Tour is great for itself, but once I started playing with GPro, I just can’t take the Tour anymore. The balls are suddenly “too light”, and my fatigue is greater because I start hitting much harder to achieve the same effect with the Tour as...

    Grip sizes - too small?

If you just easy rally, you can play with L0-L5 without any problems, but if you play at a higher level, too small handle quickly turns out to be a weakness. It’s not so much about preferences as having a handle appropriate to the size of your hand. You can go one size up or down, depending on...

New speed mp vs Gravity Tour

and when you start hitting harder with a lighter racket to achieve the same effect, you’re even more tired. Injuries probably also come faster as well ? PS: 5 hr isn't healthy. Even with professionals, I would ban such long matches.

    Head Gravity

GPro is really a special racket. Head shape is super forgiving. Racket is not too light and not too heavy and it has decent plow already in stock form. And for 100 inch head is super maneuverable. Spin is not a problem as 18x20 pattern is quite open. What more could a man want?

Gravity Tour vs Gravity Pro vs TF40 305

Given the production tolerance, someone can really get about 0 HL. I was lucky and it is tensioned with 1.25 string and overgrip exactly 3 HL. Even though the feel is great and the control is top notch I am slowly transitioning to Gravity Pro. Much more forgiving to play.

    Head Gravity

I agree, feather (300gr and less) light rackets are not very friendly to volleying. I would add that also a grip size that is too small also causes problems for the execution of a good volley. Nowadays trend to have L0-L2 for men is not good for volleying.

Clash 98: underrated racquet of 2019.

Do you have so sleeve as overgrip ? I used L5 with wooden rackets, then L4 in 80-90', but nowadays I am using L3 with overgrip, so basically it is L4. Overgrips are nowadays better than in past when they were too slippery, so L3 with overgrip is perfect for my "L5 hand". I still believe too...

Gravity Tour vs Gravity Pro vs TF40 305

Agree, Pro is, but really only, slightly more stable than TF40, because of the weight, but TF40 is the most stable for the weight, it is like a tank and you don't feel mishits at all. TF40 has more control and better feel than Pro, Pro is more forgiving, Tour is easiest to use, but lacks a bit...

Gravity Tour vs Gravity Pro vs TF40 305

The tour is really great, but once you get Pro in your hands it’s hard to go back on Tour. The balls are suddenly too light with the Tour and more energy is needed for the same effect. In fact, you are tired sooner with Tour than Pro.

Prestige Mid to become the racquet of the 2020s.

You have no choice but to try it in a real match, preferably with a better opponent. In any case, it’s not bad to have one in your bag for when you’re playing for fun and reliving memories of the previous century.

Luxilon Alu Power 1.25 vs Wilson Revolve 1.25

For me, Alu Power is special especially in that even when the tension drops, it’s still great to play. The control remains despite the tension drop. 15 -20 hours is not a problem. There is no need to waste words on the feeling. Just sublime.

Head Pro Tour 2.0 - Ask Us All Your Questions! (podcast now here!)

A good year for all those who love (me too) Head rackets. Things can turn around quickly. You wrote a year ago "I haven’t bought a new HEAD racquet in over 5 years now. Over 50 Using Control Racquet effectively

52 and really happy lately some good control rackets appear. I sold all my stock, in bag only Tecnifibre TF40 and Gravity Pro. Now, my problem is not to find a new racket, but make decision which one, TF40 or GPro, will be No.1. Both are great, TF40 better feeling end slightly better control...

Head Pro Tour 2.0 - Ask Us All Your Questions! (podcast now here!)

IMHO it’s not all in the weight, SW and manoeuvrability. All these are the least important. The shape, size and sweet spot of the racket head really makes its own to make the game easier with GPro. With PT 2.0 you have to be much more accurate and that’s the biggest “problem”. You are rarely in...

Agree 100%. Like PRO skis. If you have (pro)legs and power then pro skis shines, otherwise is better to go sth easier to make curves. PT 2.0 shines if you are good and consistent enough i.e. you must be really advance player (5+) otherwise PT 2.0 is great for rally and a nightmare for...
