    Federer's schedule for 2022

Mine was better. Up your game.

Had Roddick played at this level on grass

Also WTF are these poll options? Facepalm City.
  3. TearTheRoofOff

Had Roddick played at this level on grass

Yes. 5, 6 and 10(!) years later, and nearly losing two of them. Just because the binary result swung another way doesn't mean there's some gigantic gulf between the opponents.
  4. TearTheRoofOff

Had Roddick played at this level on grass

Cherry picked singular high level performance, which is still below what he did in his peak anyway. Next.
  5. TearTheRoofOff

Had Roddick played at this level on grass

Oh man, I dunno which beehive to kick with this one. Maybe @NatF?
  6. TearTheRoofOff

Had Roddick played at this level on grass

False equivalence at its best. Nice error to end the supposed 'highlight', though. I suppose Djoker couldn't hit through a heavily declined Federer.

Had Roddick played at this level on grass

Well, looks more like one bad shot to me.

Big 3 aside: What is the future of the ATP?

I think as new slam winners come by default, we should get some serial finalists/rivalries develop which will capture some interest, particularly from casual fans. Anyone who grew attached to the level of tennis displayed by the big 3 will likely be disappointed for a while by the looks of things.

    Since Djokovic's comeback in 2018

Fair enough, I just didn't see where they explicitly defended it or made that claim. All I saw was them suggesting 2015 Fed would have had a field day. I suppose it could be inferred to an extent.

Best Tennis Players of the Open Era Ranked

It's like evolution deniers who can't agree on whether a transitional species is the later or earlier one.
  11. TearTheRoofOff

    Since Djokovic's comeback in 2018

I don't think many people are pumping up Fed's 2017-2018 competition, though he arguably deserves some slack for being a dinosaur at the time.

Djokovic did not become No.1 until Federer was 30

Well, it dances on the 'weak era' tightrope, but I think it's fair to say that Federer's competition post 30 absolutely craps on Djokodal's. Your second line kind of adds that context to your first.

Which Career would you Prefer hypothetical

Well it's just ridiculous. You've got one member significantly older than the other two and Lew is constantly crowing about him having the worst record. They're then using that profound nugget of wisdom to effectively denounce his career, like it's the only relevant metric. It's curtain-chewing...

    Since Djokovic's comeback in 2018

You do know this mantra is basically a meme to be used exclusively by the truly cretinous, right?
  15. TearTheRoofOff

Which Career would you Prefer hypothetical

Ah yes, the old 'Big 3 or bust' chestnut. Boring. Next.
  16. TearTheRoofOff

    Federer's schedule for 2022

Watch as two separate younger ATGs are required to take down the individual records of one, and watch as the even younger ATGs sail further off into the distance.
  17. TearTheRoofOff

    Why are ...

Also consider that across the 2019 and 2020 editions of AO and RG: Absolutely shagged Fed won more games against Djokovic than Nadal did at AO and he also won more games against Nadal at RG (lol) than Djokovic did, with a low margin game and gale force winds. ROFLMAO.

That's pretty much how he played, yup.

PETEhammer Moves the Needle: A Sincere Appreciation

Why does that matter? Shít sticks regardless.
  23. TearTheRoofOff

Federer losses in slams at prime vs Djokovic losses in slams at prime - against non ATGs

Considering the 2004 loss in question was on clay, does this really matter in the context of OP?

PETEhammer Moves the Needle: A Sincere Appreciation

    For the nth time.
  25. TearTheRoofOff

Was 2011 the best year of the 00s?

It really doesn't. You've said bugger all here.
  26. TearTheRoofOff

Was 2011 the best year of the 00s?

Oh, not just prime but very prime. Really cranking up that diarrhoea dial.
  27. TearTheRoofOff

Will Djokovic reach 400 weeks at #1?

    Hilariously, quite possibly.
