Feel kind of honored to have gotten in on page 1 and mentioned personally in post 1. That’s something I can tell my Sheepadoodle puppy about when I get it this summer

Healthy arms and improved play. That is the PK way. It works! As for me, I have my 3rd discount Doppio on the way which will have me set for this season at minimum. But I also will get a Banana to work in the mix whenever it is available. Shoes wise - I am switching between the Mizuno waves...

Yeah I had a feeling you’d love the G. It’s one of the best XL frames I have ever used. That new Banana XL could be pretty fantastic as well. If I ever return to XL it will be a PK, but for whatever reason I prefer standard length. I am playing so well with the whippy Doppio that I can’t turn...

Yeah, agree. I just have a few packs of the 1.28 sitting around so it's either that or throw it in the PA19 one day.

And yes, I think dropping the tension with BK full is the way to go if i was to try it again. It's an intriguing match with the Doppio.

Ok that makes sense. Well if Flash can hang with the Lux, then that is a winner indeed. Be interested in your thoughts there. And down the road as a possible hybrid with TS, that would get my attention as well.

    Please recommend low twistweight racket!

Current Model ProKennex Q+5 Pro. TW is 13.4 I believe, which is awesome. It's so easy to shape my shots with this racquet and my consistency went up the first day I demoed it as a result. If you can track it down, the older Yonex Vcore Xi 98 has a TW in the high 12s and plays beautifully with...

If you are talking black knight, i believe i have some 1.28 packs. Its a rather firm string that plays a bit dead. I may need to revisit. I suspect the element is more user friendly, but feel wise, the bk could indeed be a good fit.

So you will be crossing flash on element mains? I am very intrigued by this. Could be a sweet hybrid for tour sniper as well.

Ok Im interested in this combo for sure. Never even thought about Cream before. I think it was always sold out when I looked to grab some. I am guessing it may be like ghostwire maybe? GW is a nice cross but has a lot of power, turned my 2015 blade into a bit of a cannon and I lost more control...

Oh ok, I guess I misunderstood what you are asking and am not quite sure the question now..lol. All I can say is if the Vcore 95 works for you, then you could try matching those specs to your other frames or just selling frames you aren't using. I had around 1k of frames sitting around that I...

Only way to get out of the madness is to play matches and join teams where they expect you to win as much as you can. If you are doing that now, I think pressured match play will help you choose your ideal fit. Whichever frame gives you the most consistency and confidence is always the answer...

    How are my groudnies?

Don't get bogged down too much with all the technical info. It would really help to see you hitting with someone on a court from the back so we can see the ball shape and also how you are moving in between shots.

    When racket modding goes wrong.

Id suggest removing the existing lead in the head and just adding 2-3 grams at 12. If this frame is 319 sw,2- 3 grams will get you to 330 depending on your string setup. From there you could add 3 grams in the handle and probably be fine. At 4.5 level thats plenty of sw. plus the twistweight...

V7 sounds good. 4 pts is the stock strung balance I believe. This PK issue just shows that adding weight to a frame makes it tougher to swing even if you are rebalancing it to more HL specs. That said, adding a leather grip to a v7 Blade I believe should add around 8-10 grams and bring it...

Great frame. I goated it for a year in the Miami heat and it made me into a better attacking player, plus was kind on the arm with awesome feel. Still have 2 plus some 2015s as well (which are super cool). Not sure what happened to me over the past 3-4 months but I have gone away from the more...

Gentlemen - 4/21 is coming. Where will you be? What stores will you lurk? What frames will you buy? Personally, going for the new Q+5Pro Banana.

Yep and you just string the 93p in the mid 40s and it bangs.

There is no way on earth that a properly specced v7 blade is whippier than a doppio. Something is up there.

Yeah man. Im not exactly agassi out there, but my strokes have been clicking lately which is a good sign. I got dialed in fast with this pk. I have the rackpack which is an awesome travel bag if you want to throw a couple frames in and hop on a plane.

Man i personally could use it in the Fl heat no problem. Its got all that easy free power. I think you will be fine there. I mean, it will suck regardless to play in those conditions but you wont blow out your energy in one set with -imo. Ill be back in FL at some point and let you know and we...

Exactly, the Doppio is not for comfortable play. It’s for more dealing with demanding guys who hit everything back and can add interest and creative angles. It also will not wow at one thing. The Wow factor for me is how great it is at all phases of the game. I am finding it to be quite nice on...

Gads excellent call on no lead and the Element. I really liked Element, it feels a little plusher in the PK than the TS, but the TS can indeed hold its own as well. The thing about Element that I liked was that it plays soft but still rewards with crisp feel. It has a little more power than TS...
