    2019 Indian Wells F - [4] Federer vs [7] Thiem

    It's like I'm watching 2nd round Fed - doesn't seem super engaged

Bianca Andreescu: under the radar but not for long!

Holy crap - great quality. Thanks! What's the catch - how is this page able to get away with streaming near HD quality and NOT be banned?

2019 Australian Open Men’s Singles Final (1) Novak Djokovic V (2) Rafael Nadal

Ended the way it started: with a crappy error by Rafa. I don't think I've ever seen Nadal dominated like this in a GS final.

2019 Australian Open Men’s Singles Final (1) Novak Djokovic V (2) Rafael Nadal

Is anyone else here having to put up with a feed that has a smaller main camera and a camera on each player? It's incredibly distracting, and frankly why would anyone be paying attention to the player cameras? They wouldn't be able to see the rallies...

2019 Australian Open Men’s Singles Final (1) Novak Djokovic V (2) Rafael Nadal

Very very weird match by Nadal so far - props to Novak for absolutely GOATING and putting on the pressure but Nadal not very sharp off the ground today.

    2019 Australian Open 3R - [1] Novak Djokovic vs. [25] Denis Shapovalov

Shapovalov is a really odd player in an interesting kind of way. His game is almost a blend of Nadal and Wawrinka: Big hitting off both wings and long backswing, but also gets into his rhythm during long rallies and feeds off the energy of the crowd like Nadal.

Australian Open 2019 3R: (3) Roger Federer vs Taylor Fritz

Lol based on what? He arguably has the same movement and BH skills as Raonic did at his age, but nowhere near comparable success at this point in their respective careers. Even at 21 Milos was a established top 25 player and had titles under his belt.

Australian Open 2019 3R: (3) Roger Federer vs Taylor Fritz

Does anyone notice how similarly Fritz's game is to Raonic's? He even kind of looks like him too

Australian Open 2019 3R: (3) Roger Federer vs Taylor Fritz

lol Fritz plays like a Top Spin character with maxed out strength and serve

    Murray To Retire At Wimbledon

You mean when Roger went out the way to play Rotterdam just to get the #1 for a few weeks, only to lose it after crashing out in stunning fashion in IW and Miami and then going on to play injury-ridden for the next six months in 2018? No... definitely not Roger

How big is todays final for Djokovic?

Big - it means that, like others mentioned, Rafa is now under the gun to win more slams from both fronts (Fed and Djok) and now has to go back and fend off a competitor whose more likely to win slams on ALL surfaces than he is.

    Serena Williams

Long story short, like a lot of previous posters mentioned I think it's BOTH parties' fault, but mostly Serena. Serena, I think bears most of the blame for this entire episode (65-35). She just couldn't let the coaching call go, despite her coach later admitting that he was giving her coaching...

I don't think the infamous Roddick meltdown at AO in 2008 I believe resulted in a code violation; could be wrong so if anyone knows happy to be corrected

    USO 2018 R4: [2] Federer vs Millman

Jeebus Millman is getting so many chances with fed rolling balls in, but is doing nothing with em.

    2018 US Open 4R - Dominic Thiem (9) vs Kevin Anderson (5)

42 winners to 13 unforced errors; that's scary good

ATP Cincinnati 2018 - Official thread

My wild prediction: Shapovalov wins this whole thing.

The Shape Of Things To Come: Denis Shapovalov!

Absolute horrific match and serving day from Shapo; under any other set of circumstances he would've lost, bad. But he got lucky today; Tiafoe really got tight and defensive; I think Tiafoe didn't hit a winner in 66 points? All it took was for Shapo to win a few key points and momentum carried...

The Rogers cup feels like a 500 tournament

It was only back around 2010 I think when for the first time in forever, the top 8 were in the QFs. Since then, there's been a slow decline in participation by the top guys. But on the flip side, its been a great venue for young players to announce their presence on the tour and establish...

The Shape Of Things To Come: Denis Shapovalov!

Its only natural for us Canadians to get excited after all; we've been starved for a potential great player for years and Milos teased us hard (not saying that hes done though).

FAA - Felix Auger Aliassime: potential successor to Nadal?

This, and maybe with a sprinkle of french flair. Comes with the territory since he's from Quebec after all

2018 Rogers Cup ATP World Tour Masters 1000 - Early Chatter

Win or lose, I see a lot of upside from FAA. This guy has some serious game; great mover, a lot of firepower off both wings and some flashy moves ala french players like Tsonga. Compared to Shapo, his return game seems a lot more complete too. Overall, will be an interesting next couple of...

    Who SHOULD coach Shapovalov ?

I agree; can you imagine how out of touch a Fed, Nadal, Djok coach would be? I can imagine conversations would often devolve to: "what do you mean you're being pushed to your forehand side? Just do a no-look,cross-court, tweener, squash shot forehand. Works every time."

Who of the younger generation will win a GS first?

Kyle Edmund, at 23 and #16 in the world, is considered a "young player" and put forward as a nominee for possible grand slam winner when in any other generation he would've been considered incredibly mediocre. Dark times indeed

2018 Wimbledon Final: Kevin Anderson (8) vs Novak Djokovic (12)

Fair enough for Berdych and Tsonga but I would very much disagree on Ferrer. Ferrer was only a force against everyone BUT the big four. He was a gatekeeper that would trounce anyone at a lower ranking, but would be utterly useless against to big four. Meanwhile at least KA can put up a decent...

What a gong show of a game for Novak, and KA STILL couldn't break him :(

2018 Wimbledon Final: Kevin Anderson (8) vs Novak Djokovic (12)

I don't think the result is in doubt, but would like to see this be at least a good contest. Right now, not-so-much.

2018 Wimbledon Final: Kevin Anderson (8) vs Novak Djokovic (12)

Tennis World Tour (2018) -- new video game

Unfortunately the writing has been on the wall for quite a while that this would be a stinker on launch. Even their press materials and gameplay looked pretty mediocre. Also, how did they only notice the one-handed players occasionally hitting two handers bug? That was clearly happening in their...
