    Racquet optimized for serve

If you are only looking for power, then the heaviest racquet that you can swing the fastest as per f = m*a. Force (applied to the ball) = mass (of racquet) * acceleration (of racquet). Obviously there's a lot more to a good serve than just power.

Racquet recommendation for a USTA 3.0?

There's a few I follow myself. Not sure if I'm allowed to post them here. Please delete if I am not allowed to post. Intuitive Tennis, Essential Tennis, Top Tennis Training, Tennisnerd, Brian Dabul are all good.

Racquet recommendation for a USTA 3.0?

If you have the possibility to demo, try some of the following: Wilson Clash 100, Babolat Pure Drive, Yonex EZone 100, and Head Instinct. I would suggest, along with going to a coach, pull up some youtube instructional videos and work on your weaknesses. It will be very helpful to your game if...

how much does the plastic wrap on a new stick weigh?

Assuming he's talking about the plastic wrapping on the handle, it will not increase swingweight. Adding weight to the handle barely has an effect on swingweight.

I got super suspicyrhen he asked for $1400 through immediate relies. Haven't head back from him since I asked for a picture of the machine with a piece of...

    Grip Sizes of Top Pros

You did not address that issue at hand, that a smaller grip size helps to produce more spin because it allows more free movement of your wrist than a larger grip size. No matter, I will still go through and answer your counter-points. Grip size sources: NADAL, NADAL 2, NADAL 3, FEDERER, FEDERER...

    Grip Sizes of Top Pros

Read most of the posts in this thread and didn't see one with a comprehensive answer. Apologies if I missed it. Basically, a smaller grip size helps to produce more spin BECAUSE it allows for more free movement of the wrist. The modern and nextgen forehands use the wrist as a major part of the...

Pro staff 97 - reputation as a stiff racquet??

I would say it more towards the upper end of middle of the road as far as stiffness goes. There's racquets out there that are stiffer and some that are less stiff. Either way, if the racquet doesn't feel stiff for you, and you like how it feels, that's all that should matter.

Adding 35 grams to my racquet

Add a little bit, measure. Add a bit more, measure. Repeat until you got the weight you want. That's how I did it for 4 racquets and they all came out perfect for me. The weight loss (if there is any) should be negligible.

Adding 35 grams to my racquet

Depends on how much weight I'm trying to add. For a few grams, I just use a $5 tube. For a lot of weight I've used a caulk gun with a full sized silicone tube. You can find both at your local hardware store for around $5-10. Just make sure you get one that says 100% silicone sealant caulk. It's...

    Head Gravity

Awesome, I found the picture with a quick google search. But its good to know nothing changes so I feel even better about the 4 that I bought. I like that red more than the new color they are adding. Thanks.

    Head Gravity

I did find this image that shows "flex something" written on the frame. Does the current gravity have that as well? 2020 Gravity vs 2021 Gravity

    Head Gravity

Sounds good. It's been a long 2 year journey for me to finally find a racquet that I think fits my game well. Very happy I was able to snag some up at a good price point.

    Head Gravity

Yep, that's exactly what I was referring to. The new paint job seems to replace the red with a green-bluish shade. I like the red. But the most important factor in my decision was that the current layup just feels and plays very well for me. I don't want to wait for new ones and risk them not...

    Head Gravity

The new Radical releases in January and the new Gravity should be right after that in March/April. I've seen pictures of the new paint and I think I prefer the current one. I was demoing a ton of racquets to find a good one to settle on. Really liked the Gravity Pro and just bought 4 yesterday...

Adding 35 grams to my racquet

Jesus...would it not just be better to answer the person's question or just not answer at all if you don't have anything positive to add? Why gatekeep? Keep in mind there's a ton of people using the RF97A, which is 340G unstrung. Max, Your best option will be Blue Tack or Silicone in the...

    Fake Babolat AeroPro Original?

Check to see if there's a serial number and/or barcode sticker on the inside of the throat. Also if you can post a picture of the side of the frame at the 3/9 position.
