    Mizuno Tennis shoes and clothing

Just fyi, seems that the TW Europe site is selling the same new shoes for a cheaper price. Wave Exceed Tour 3 from the U.S. site $139.95. TW Europe 99,92 or $113, even with shipping costing more, it is still cheaper.

Big Kahuna, nice find! Seems that it's just the newest shoes and non of the older models. But that's a good start. You can still get the older models on the TW Europe side, many older ones are on sale.

    Mizuno Tennis shoes and clothing

That's a tough question. Because I have narrow and flat feet, Wave Exceed fit me the best and gives me the most comfort. However, I think the durability may be lacking compared to the Barricades.

It has been about 3 months since my purchase of Wave Exceed Tour 3 Clay shoes. The comfort and support are still definitely there. However, the traction is fading faster than my previous Gel Resolution and Barricades. Now, to be fair, I got the Clay shoes but play on hard courts. Partly...

To me, the comfort with Mizuno exceeds both Gel-Resolution and Barricade. In regard to support, I feel it's better than Gel, but Barricade I'd say has a slight edge over Mizuno.

So I received my Wave Exceed Tour 3 Clay and have about 10 hours of court time logged in. And I must say, they feel fantastic. I have flat feet so finding the right shoe is not easy for me. They hug my foot wonderfully. Good space for my toes, no slippage, great court traction. I have had a...

    RF97 Hybrid set up ideas

Don't know if you are into all poly setup but there are two combos that I love, Tier One Firewire boost and Firewire/Head Hawk Touch. Firewire boost is a bit too harsh for my shoulder since I had shoulder surgery, so I personally like Firewire/Head Hawk Touch better. Love the touch, spin, and...

I just purchased the Wave Exceed Tour 3 Clay from the TWEurope site. I am really excited to try them out! ALSO, since there are now new models out, all the ones posted here are all literally HALF off! Anything over 100 euro is free shipping.... Except for the US. I tried to take advantage of...

A Smooth/Round Poly or Co Poly To Cross With Natural Gut

@tomato123 that's great to hear that Black Knight is still going strong for you. I'll definitely try that if you end up giving it the green light in the end. I do like the Head Hawk so far. I'm about 10 hours in and no issues so far. Only thing is it took some adjustment for me since I have...

A Smooth/Round Poly or Co Poly To Cross With Natural Gut

@tomato123 that's exactly why Black Knight was one of my options as well. I'm also using Lux natural 16 in my testings. I'd love to hear your updates on how it plays, and if it can last despite being shaped, but not sharp.

A Smooth/Round Poly or Co Poly To Cross With Natural Gut

That was my thinking too tomato. @USPTARF97, was that for the other thread? Lux gut is what I'm going to be sticking to for my testing for now. The Max power though I was thinking long and hard about. However, I had shoulder surgery a few years ago and wanted something a little softer in a poly...

A Smooth/Round Poly or Co Poly To Cross With Natural Gut

Well, I'm all in with gut/poly. I bought more than I intended. But I can't wait to start. I took a lot of thought into my choices, between this forum of opinions as well as others. Did many comparisons in Tennis Warehouse University as well. I have 3 RF97s and am planning to keep at least one...

    RF97: Volkl Cyclone Tour 16g

It's my favorite full poly stringbed for those exact reasons. For me the 16g lasts a long time before it dies out. I can get at least 3 weeks out of it. I'm a 4.0 playing about 3 or 4 times a week. @g4driver don't know if you want to weigh in. I know it's right up your alley.

Any recommendations for a soft poly?

My favorite full bed soft by far is Cyclone Tour 16g. Big time spin, lasts a very long time, great control for me. Others that I really liked that are softer but not as much spin are Cream and Volkl V-Star.

Thanks Kramer, The gut/poly thread you're speaking of. I literally stumbled upon that yesterday. Great stuff in there and I haven't even scratched the surface. Already I see one of my strings that I'm looking for in Tourna Big Hitter Silver. Nothing on Black Knight. That will keep me busy...
