New Yonex Vcore (for 2020 or 2021 ?)

Normally testers, shops and distribs should receive the new Vcore (don't know if there will be a proto) in december and they should be released in store in January 2021.

New Yonex Vcore (for 2020 or 2021 ?)

From what I've been told, retailers, reviewers'n'co should receive the new Vcore line during december. ;) Maybe Tennis Warehouse has already some answers to this but wait a few weeks to tell...

    Official Wilson Clash thread

I'd say the opposite : the PRince Tour 100T as far better control than Clash 100. I ended witht he Clash 98 which was (for me) a Blade with easier playability, power and spin. If you're into control and like flexy racquet, go for the Gravity line that will give you way more feel. Clash line...

    Official Wilson Clash thread

Yes I did : the clash 100 will have much easier power than Prince tour 100T.

    Official Wilson Clash thread

Amen, brother! That's the Clash conundrum in a nutshell. Imagine the playability of the Clash 98 with the feel and the thin beams of the Blade V7 : ALLELUYAH !!!!

Ezone 100: is it actually arm friendly?

I had the same experiences. And at least, it s a very good stick that s worth a try ! ;)

    Official Wilson Clash thread

I demo the blade and own the Clash 98. IMOE, Clash 98 has more spin, the Blade 98 16/19 lacks it... The launch angle seems to be the same but the ball falls more at the end thanks to the added spin with the Clash. The launch angle is a bit upper with the Clash 98 giving also more confidence...

Ezone 100: is it actually arm friendly?

I tried both. If you come frome a 18/20, go with the 98. It has far less power and feels a lot more solid than the 100. So it will be far nearer to your previous racquet. This said, the 2 problems I met and made me chose the 100 are : _The 98 has far less spin too. _And the power is some time...

    String for Ezone 100 (2020)

    Ok. Good to know.
  17. Babolix

Ezone 100: is it actually arm friendly?

Exactly, 2020 has VDM & MX40 (that gives flexibility), no comparison with 2018 (I had) on confort. Blue 2020 is a winner on that point.

    String for Ezone 100 (2020)

Thanks you but I simply hate Rip control. Full or hybrid. No feeling at all... :(

    Great ! I'll order a set right now !!! Thx ;)

    String for Ezone 100 (2020)

Ok. I not that. How would you compare regular Hyper G to the soft ? (Spin, tension maintenance, control etc... And confort)
  21. Babolix

    String for Ezone 100 (2020)

For me, regular Lynx is a PTP with a bit more feel but less spin, control and playability duration/tension maintenance. Here, I was talking about the Head Lynx TOUR (6 faces and champagne colour) which maintain the tension for a long time (much more than regular lynx). Ok, I not for Ice code...

Ezone 100: is it actually arm friendly?

I hurt my arms on the new speed MP 360+ with lynx on it. No hurt, injury or problem on the ezone with PTstrike even @55lbs. Maybe it depends of bodies, type of strokes or else but for me the MX40 + VDM + ezone conception make it a real arm friendly frame when talking about solidness at impact...

    String for Ezone 100 (2020)

Yes, PTspin could be a good answer. How long does it last ? I love these two but yes, not long in the racquet. That's why I tried PTStrike but it has no pocketing. I read Head tour lynx could be great on it. Tennis bros says RPM blast @ 50lbs is great on it (afraid for my arm though)

Ezone 100: is it actually arm friendly?

Thanks. Poly tour pro is a good string, espacially for yonex frames. For the moment, I'm going with Head Experimental (Lynx tour) and its champagne colour. What I read sounds like a regular lynx with more bite, control and tension maintenance + Weird colour. We ll see ! ;)

Ezone 100: is it actually arm friendly?

Yes. Nowadays, we can't just look at the stiffness rating cause there are so much tech incorporated in the frames. So some 65RA without dampening tech or materials inside the frame could be more aggressive on the arms than some 69/70ra with it to absorbe the vib. (Note : the SW should also be...

Ezone 100: is it actually arm friendly?

Despite it high stiffness rating, the Ezone 100 2020 is really confortable. I had arms problems in the past (with some babs, espacially the pure strike) and none with the ezone 100 (2020). The 98 is plusher but not as easy and fun to play. Now I'm just lookin for the best string/tension to...

    Looking for Soft Poly

Head lynx, poly tour pro and Wilson Revolve (round one) are soft and cost nothing. Volkl Cyclone in yellow is spinny, lively and even cheaper too. More expensive you have Luxilon Element.

    Yonex Poly Tour Strike power

I have it @ 24/24kgs now and have problems with launching. A friend that works a lot with Yonex told me that 24kg is way too high. For him, I should have strung it @ low tension to make it less pingy, have more dwell time and pocketing, more snapback and so spin, without sacrifying control (or...

    String for Ezone 100 (2020)

Ok. For the moment I only tried Poly tour pro which work as always, without shining espacially on one point. I m' triying Poly tour strike maybe strung too high because for the first hour, I have no real spin, somewhat on/off power which was hard to control and reduced the sweetspot... Maybe a...
