    Head Prestige 2021

Is there going to be a Mid in Europe as others have claimed above?

    Head Prestige 2021

Played the Graphene Touch Mid I just bought today. Love it. Does everything well. Paintjob is great, so new paint job should be good. Shame there's no longer a Mid in the line.

    Murray's Current Level

I think he's hitting the ball incredibly well for somebody with a fake hip. Fake hips are not designed for this. My hips hurt after an intense tennis session and mine are real.

    Head Prestige 2021

Coincidentally I just bought a Graphene Touch Prestige Mid off eeebay. Weight and balance feels perfect. Head size is exactly between my PS90 and VCoreHD. Very interested to see how it plays. If it’s good I might try to buy up a whole load of new old stock. Paint job is really nice too.

So the 90 is gone then. That's a shame.

Somebody claimed the 95 was becoming a box beam?

I'm interested in the 95, whatever that's called now.

    NEW Prestige MP 360

Or Karatsev. The Prestige line should be the Pro-Tour 2.0 shape (95) in both 16x19 and 18x20, a 98 in 18x20, and maybe that 99 in 18x19.

Is Wimbledon in trouble? Interest-wise, level wise.

For most people who watch tennis on TV, Wimbledon is tennis. There are plenty of people who love watching Wimbledon who are unaware that the other grand slam events even exist, let alone all the 250, 500 and 1000 events.

    Nike Vapor Lite All Court

I'm alternating between Adidas Ubersonic 4 and Nike Vapor X at the moment. The Ubersonic is far more plush and cushioned, particularly under the heel, and yet I don't find the Nike any less comfortable on the court.

    NEW Prestige MP 360

Colour looks good but what on earth do they mean 'finally' getting an update? It only got updated to the red paint job 2 minutes ago.

    No Prestiges available on TennisWarehouseEurope?

    NEW Prestige MP 360

That would be interesting, personally I don't really like the look of the current beam. It looks very different to the other racquets in the line.

Which is the spiniest, 98in, 18/20 racquet?

Thanks. To be honest I don't understand the physics fully, I just know that my 90 is incredibly manoeuvrable and produces loads of topspin, but my 97 is much more stable but wants to create a flatter shot that penetrates through the court more.

Which is the spiniest, 98in, 18/20 racquet?

As in, hold the racquet so that the racquet face/string-bed is facing the net (not facing the floor). (In typical forehand position - racquet is out to your side not standing up vertically). Moving the racquet upwards (the beginning of the 'windshield wiper' motion) is easier with a low...

    Tennis needs a longer off-season

The tennis season is insane. I think tennis players are the most under-appreciated athletes in terms of how physically demanding their tour is.

Which is the spiniest, 98in, 18/20 racquet?

I think twist-weight also influences the on-edge down-up manoeuvrability of the racquet. Same reason it's much easier to perform the service motion with a small head size racquet.

Most efficient player of all time?

In terms of energy conservation I would actually seriously propose Tomic. He only hits as hard as he can occasionally.
  21. C

Which is the spiniest, 98in, 18/20 racquet?

Easier to manoeuvre the racquet, particularly in terms of 'brushing up'. So for example, I find it very easy to put a ton of spin and loop on the ball with my PS90, but harder to hit through the court. Whereas with my VCorePro97HD, it's very easy to hit through the court, but somewhat harder to...

    Windshield Wiper Injury

Windshield wiper isn't something you force, or even really something that you do intentionally. It happens unconsciously.

Which is the spiniest, 98in, 18/20 racquet?

    Whichever 18x20 98 has the lowest twist-weight.

Emma Is The Most Marketable Player In History.

Her looks are clever because she can be whatever you want her to be. She looks a bit British, a bit Romanian, a bit Chinese, and enough of each of them for you to view her as predominantly that thing depending on where you yourself are from. I don't know much about Chinese language but I...

What word would you use to describe a takeback that is NOT compact?

Like Raonic's take back. Don't know how to describe it though. Is a non-compact take back always a bad thing? It seems to me that the more compact a take back gets, the more often it has a hitch or a pause in it. Whereas somebody like Raonic, it's a long take back but the arm and racquet are...

Yonex VCore Pro 97 HD review...

Mine is 4 3/8 grip. Feels slightly larger than my Wilson 4 3/8, and I miss the sharper bevel edges from leather grip. I think I'm going to replace the base grip with Kimony Techni Leather. Hopefully this will reduce grip size slightly. I'm hoping the weight will be close to the original base...

Yonex VCore Pro 97 HD review...

Since I had the HD re-strung with Ashaway Liberty 16 synthetic gut 55lbs it's gotten better and better to play with. Initially the stringing had lengthened and narrowed the head, string-bed felt weird and the swing-weight was higher. Now that the strings have lost tension and settled in, the...

Tennis Parent Cautionary Tale: Gabby Price

The kids that don't want it and need to be pushed are not going to be successful. If you push Tomic will he succeed? No. The kids that succeed want it themselves without any pressure from anybody, and they will push themselves.
