What is the best way to measure those? I don't have a machine for SW or specific scale for anything.

    Balancing rackets DIY

Figured this is the best place to ask: I'm getting new Blade Pros later this week and would like to balance them out because I am sure the QC is messed up as it is Wilson. I'm not really sure how to measure the racket's balance and SW and such so I need advice on that as well. How do you...

Just ordered some BP v8 through my school's corporate program, will receive it later this week or next week. I'll report and compare it to the v7 BP.

Blade 98 v8 Non US Open edition

If you see a non-pro player with a glossy Blade, it could be Blade Pro, which are essentially pro stock rackets.

Any good shoes under $75 any more?

If you have one near, Adidas outlets typically carry tennis shoes (at least the bigger outlets) and have them on sale for $80 less. The other day, saw some Stycons for $76 and CourtJam Bounce (a good Ubersonic alternative) for around $60. Same with Asics as well as they usually have a BOGO...

    Asics shoes

The Gel Challenger is the more budget-friendly version of the GR line. They generally have the same outsole, maybe a tad difference in durability with the better is the GR. The products in the Gel Challenger used in the uppers and such are not as "top-line" as the GR. In my opinion, they feel...

Wilson Pro Labs: Blade Pro Official Thread

Erm we got another update from Wilson and contrary to what I was told, Blade Pro will NOT be released to its corporate academies and such on 9/1. Will update once I get a date because I'm gonna buy the new paintjob on BP lol.

    Quietest shoes

Okay, maybe a month ago, I asked what were the loudest shoes in terms of squeaks and it looks like GR8 won that one so… What are the quietest shoes? My answer would be the Ubersonic 3.

    Cristina Bucsa Shoes

Looks like Artengo shoes, it’s a cheaper alternative for shoes. I believe Oliver Marach uses Artengo but the shoes are his own custom ones. Maybe the same situation with her.

Holes in toe or side of shoe fix

On the court, I typically can be a toe dragger, especially whenever I slide causing holes in the toe or the side of the shoe. I have used duct tape in the past to cover any holes but it just eventually comes off quickly. Does anyone else know if there is a better option to patch up a hole like that?

How much do you typically pay for a string job with your own string?

I work as a freelance stringer and whenever they give their own strings, I charge $15.

Not significantly but it’s noticeably there. Once again, it could be due to the fact that I was using a lot softer string before I demoed the racket with a pretty stiff string. That’s the variation that might be different with others so once others get to demo, we’ll get a definitive answer.
