Arm issues : Stiff Poly low tension 36 lbs or Synthetic Gut at 55 lbs ?

. I've bought early this year a stringing machine in order to make such experiments without stringing cost, but as you, I have not done any until now... You've convinced me! I will test it on Sunday! :) Not stiff rackets for me. I'll stay with my regulars.

104in racquets - are they Ok for 40+- years old amateur/intermediate players ?

. Depending on the racket, don't expect the 104 sqi (or 105 sqi in my case) to has such a big head difference from 100 sqi. As GravitysElbow says, I also use to switch between a 98 sqi (Fischer VT Pro 98 320g) and an 105 sqi (Fischer M Speed Pro 105 SL) racket. The 98 gives me more control (when...

Will Fed or Rafa win another slam?

. Now all three are with 20 Slams. ATP has to not allow those Group B hyperchargered players (from past decades) to drink all those "vitamins" again. They have the first place in the tennis history. Let's move on!

    Pro's Pro Strings!?

Head IG Radical MP - What is your opinion on this?

. To emphasize that, I'll say "this racquet is DANGEROUS in stock form". I had my only serious injury with that racquet, at my wrist. You may don't even believe how easily... I just put the racquet face-up to stop and catch a lob ball! That racquet vibrates like a hell. Definately a lot of...

    Pro's Pro Strings!?

. Ohh my friend you misunderstand this... I didn't split the reel to 40' sets. I agree that you can't be even close when you have to weight each set separately. I split the whole reel in two halves, 100m each. In that case missing a meter or two it's not a big deal. It was very easy that way...

    Pro's Pro Strings!?

. Not yet... I'm thinking to stung it fullbed at first. In a hybrid I prefer the S.Gut on the mains (as you can read few posts above) because snapping back easily than the opposite. Maybe Red Devil 1.19 it's a nice option for the crosses. I will see... At the moment under 40+ Celsius degrees...

    Pro's Pro Strings!?

. I have not try the IH 1.30 yet. I'd try the Intense Heat 1.25 long time ago. It was an ok string as I can remember which doesn't feel stiff at the time. It was the first PP string I'd try. When I put on the 1.30 I will be back with an opinion. Now I have test many PP string and I can...

    Pro's Pro Strings!?

. If someone could be helped by that info, those below are the weights of a full Pro's Pro's strings reels. Just the net weight of the strings, without the plastic reel. The strings are not measured. We suppose that they are 200m, usually few meters longer... S.GUT 1.35 WHITE = 382 g INTENSE...

    Pro's Pro Strings!?

. No, durability is similar to Concept 1.28. But playability is better. You get more feel and more spin from Plus Power imho. On a 16x19 100 sqi racket 24 kg / 53 lbs mains and 23 kg / 51 lbs crosses is a nice option to start with. I've also strung it little higher (and I get less power and...

    Pro's Pro Strings!?

. I didn't found Red Devil, Blackout and Concept powerfull... Plus Power 1.28 has the most power of all those and has very good durability and playability too. Many friends of mine love it too. The following days I'm going to try it at 1.23 gauge...

    Pro's Pro Strings!?

. When you ever try hybrid with PP Syn gut 1.30 on the mains and Blackout on the crosses remember to tie off the poly crosses on crosses! A thing that Fed use to do. Not with PP strings of course! I've strung the same hybrid few days ago, PP S.Gut 1.30 (black) on the mains and...

    Pro's Pro Strings!?

. PP Plus Power is close enough, but PPPP has better spin and more "feel". They use to compare PPPP with SPPP but imho PPPP is way softer than SPPP, like TSCB.

. Plus Power 1.28 mains 24kg with Red Devil 1.19 crosses 23kg on a 100sqi 16x19 racket is an excellent hybrid combination! You have to try this! And the colour mix is so tropical! Tequila sunrise on the ...strings!

So who is the mentally tougher player: Nadal or Djokovic?

. My vote goes to Nadal although I'm not a fan. I can't remember even one match which Nadal wanted to run out of the court, wishing to finished / lost early. Djokovic, on the other hand, has done that some times. One which I definitely remember was in the ATP 2018 final against Zverev (lost 6-4...

String recommendation for ig radical mp

. As I understand from the specs your Rad MP is customized... I use to have one and the racquet is underpowered for sure... Try something powerfull and soft. There are so many powerfull and soft strings to choose of out there... eg Prince Tour XT 18 (1.18)

    Pacific BXT X Force Pro

. Yes, Beast is has 25-23-21 mm tapered beam also. Unfortunately the one whch I have try was way off-specs (sw over 335) so I can't tell for sure... The only thing I can say about Beast, is that it has a "modern" feel, far away the 'Fischer feel" . Also, I can't compare any Pacific 98 sqi...

    Pacific BXT X Force Pro

. Yes, you are right! That Pacific is from the same mold but the lite version (295g unstrung) similar to Fischer M-Pro No 1 UL. There are two versions of Pro No 1 Pacific/Fischer racquets, the SL (320g) and the UL (295g).

Mohamed Lahyani and RF a Winning Combination?
