What's better than full bed Confidential?

A string that grabs the ball even more than Hyper-G? Wow. Wonder if the snapback will be reduced and therefore the spin decreased.

    Electronic stringing machine

To give you guys an update. The best bang for the buck that I came upon would be the Tennismann machine with a Wise. So what I did was get the Wise tension head and put it on my machine (because it is somewhat portable compared to the Tennismann machine). For home use we'll be getting the...

New Yonex Vcore (for 2020 or 2021 ?)

I haven't heard anything from the Yonex about any plans for a black version so that means *IF* there'll be any plans in the future it means not at least for months.

    Electronic stringing machine

Wish I could but unfortunately it's not as widely available in Europe and just a little bit out of my price range.

    Electronic stringing machine

That's great. I am guessing the quieter sound is mostly due to a better and bigger casing insulation. There's noise but it's muted. Maybe I'm wrong. Because the latest Pros Pro also pulls very quiet compared to the Wise and let's be honest it cannot be much better in quality.

    Electronic stringing machine

I am sure it's not as loud as the ratchet mechanism on a drop-weight haha :) Yes, I saw the videos and the base clamps run smooth. That's a big plus.

    Electronic stringing machine

I heard the V14 is much quieter and smoother overall. I checked out some videos to compare V12 and V14 and the V14 works like every higher class eCP I ever saw. So thats not an issue for me anymore.

    Electronic stringing machine

Thanks for the video! I suspect the clamps are the same as mine and they also move the same. Not really a problem, just a little bit annoying if I was to do 20 rackets a day….

    Electronic stringing machine

I am more and more inclined to that. But from what I saw I do not like the Wise that much. For example the Tomcat (PP) seems to pull tension more like even a Star 5 I tested not too long ago. The wise seems kind of slow and noisy.

    Electronic stringing machine

Looks like a great machine. I cannot seem to find information on the clamps. Why do you think they're better than the Gamma? I'm only looking at Gamma because theres a lot of reviews and stuff online and people seem to like them.

    Electronic stringing machine

As I said above, the volume is about 5-10 rackets a week for a pro player and 2 a week for myself. That's it. I want an eCP because a pro player needs a consistent string job.

    Cheap best-buy portable stringing machine

I do not know what everyones problem is with Pros pro starting clamps. I never heard anyone say exactly what the issue was. Have used them for the past year without much problems. They did fall apart twice but it was easy to put back together. Never had one slip (I always mark the string just in...

    Electronic stringing machine

Hello everyone, I am wrecking my head with what's the best thing to do in my situation. I started a little over a year ago on a DW Pro's pro machine. It's fine when I was stringing 1 racket a month. Now I break my strings in about 3-4 hours and I started stringing for my girlfriend which can...

3 of 4 olympic womens semifinalists play Yonex frames.

Its no wonder really…they’re really nice and fair to the players from what i’ve seen and their products are superior to others. A lot of rec players are switching to Yonex in my area too. Strings are also awesome and affordable. They “invested” in a lot of lower ranked players and it’s paying off.

So, any pros using the over hyped super amazing Clash?

I dont understand your first sentence either. The strings in 2021 were Alu Power, this is not based on pictures.

So, any pros using the over hyped super amazing Clash?

I used to lead up my clash there for a more head heavy thing. But I switched to the new Vcore. Also Renata Zarazua was using the Clash before switching to a pro stock racket. They both string it with Alu Power. I see some other young WTA players using it on tour but I don’t personally know them...

Upgrading a drop weight or buying a new electronic machine

Ok, I feel you. But a two point mount doesn’t do such a good job at protecting the racket as a 6 point. The two rackets I strung yesterday, I did them in 33 mins both. with the current setup I feel like I could get down to 30 if there are no string catching anywhere and if I got all the holes...

Upgrading a drop weight or buying a new electronic machine

Are you satisfied with it? I put a washer under each tower so it did not tilt when I strung the two rackets now. So it holds! So I’m more and more inclined to upgrading. i’ll try stringing on my friends Star 5 to see how much time I save. Then I’ll decide. I know stringing wont be as comfortable...

Upgrading a drop weight or buying a new electronic machine

Thanks for your input! I got a full time job, so there’s no need for the extra money. I just do it for fun. The labor here is about 10$ for a string job so I’m definitely not changing careers. I’ll get to the machine in a moment to try and fix the tilt. The thing is…it doesnt tilt no matter...

Gamma ELS vs Wise 2086 tension heads

I'm in Europe so PP would be closer to me...plus I got a PP machine and the conversion is easier. Although not very difficult with the Wise either. I'm just looking for the best and will not get the cheaper thing if it's not up to par with the "best".

Gamma ELS vs Wise 2086 tension heads

Hi, Anyone used both? Which one would be superior when it comes to accuracy, ease of use and speed of operation? Wise "looks" more like the tension heads on the high end machines due to the diablo etc. But how would the Gamma compare? Cheers! P.S.: Another option is the Pro's pro MT-200...

Upgrading a drop weight or buying a new electronic machine

I'll unmount the tower and take some pictures if I can't figure it out! Thank you for your advise! P.S.: I see that there's literally 0 Gamma machines on stock anywhere. I guess the logistics problems are at work there as well. Too bad.

Yeah, the metal does not seem to be flexing. The whole tower tilts. I'll check it out when I'm back home in a few hours.

Upgrading a drop weight or buying a new electronic machine

I did forget to mention that the two towers holding up the racket do tilt inwards. Well, one does. I have tried engineering a solution but so far I was unsuccessful. Everything is tight, I put better bolts and washers in but to no avail. I will try to fit a big and thick washer between the...

Upgrading a drop weight or buying a new electronic machine

Working on technique, of course. All but the last two weaves are very smooth and done in under 20 seconds, for sure! I am pretty sure I do most in under 10 seconds. I will try my friends Star 5 this weekend, hopefully I'll get some answers there. What I feel is holding me back most now is...
