The new generation don't have the charisma on court and off court compared to Nadal, Djokovic, Federer

I wouldn’t even say Djokovic has charisma. He always seems very awkward to me. Regardless though Medvedev is 100% the most charming of the next gen. He’s very intelligent, very well spoken, quick and witty and gives very thoguhtful answers to anything that he is asked. He’s also effortlessly...

Sinner regressed 1 game in each set

I think people really need to stop with this sinner hype until he gets a bettter serve. His game is also very one dimensional, there’s no variety to any of his shots its just hit hard and then hit harder. He needs some tennis IQ, he needs some variety. His defence can be good sometimes but he’ll...

2021 Roland Garros - Men's Singles QF - Daniil Medvedev (2) vs Stefanos Tsitsipas (5)

Yeah when Medvedev played Tsitispas in Monte Carlo Tsitispas was the higher ranked player. He was #6 at that point and Medvedev was just outside the top ten.

2021 Roland Garros - Men's Singles QF - Daniil Medvedev (2) vs Stefanos Tsitsipas (5)

Medvedev played in the night against Tommy Paul and it didn’t dull his serve. The fact that he has a super flat serve helps him be able to hit with pace even in slower conditions.

2021 Roland Garros - Men's Singles QF - Alexander Zverev (6) vs Alejandro Davidovich Fokina

Fokina is going to be zonked after playing two long five setters and a four setter back to back to back. Unless Zverev cradles this will be three sets fro Zverev.

Medvedev on Tsitsipas: We respect each other as players, NOT on a personal level

Its just intresting how your intent on labeling Medvedev a bad guy because of his behaviour but you excuse Tsitsipas because of his young age but the Miami match in question took place when Medvdev was 22 years old the same age Tsitsipas is now. Also half the videos you posted as evidence of...

Medvedev on Tsitsipas: We respect each other as players, NOT on a personal level

None of that is video evidence of the match. If Medvedev really was the one who provoked Tsitsipas as you claim, don’t you think there would be evidence of this. Posts, articles, even statements coming from the players themselves. Tsitispas himself has said he was out of line and shouldn’t have...

Medvedev on Tsitsipas: We respect each other as players, NOT on a personal level

Do you have video evidence of any of this? You seem to be making proclamations about this match without any proof. Medvvedev has never done anything to Tsitsipas and has consistently said he does not understand why he doesn’t like him. Also this “beef” you speak of that he has with a lot...

Medvedev on Tsitsipas: We respect each other as players, NOT on a personal level

And then a year later went on to call Medvedev “boring” which Medvedev heard about and took offence to.

2021 Roland Garros - Men's Singles QF - Daniil Medvedev (2) vs Stefanos Tsitsipas (5)

If Medvedev beats Tsitsipas who is 100% a better clay courter than Zverev is at the moment than yes I believe he will beat Zverev.

2021 Roland Garros - Men's Singles QF - Daniil Medvedev (2) vs Stefanos Tsitsipas (5)

He has the serve and the return game to drive Tsitsipas crazy, despite what people want to say Tsitsipas hasn’t looked all that dominant facing Set points to the likes of Chardy, being broken multiple times by Martinez of all people. Tsitsipas is not good at reading Medvedev’s serve at all (clay...

Prime fittest 27 yo thiem vs (almost) 40 yo "barely played 15 months" roger

If Federer was playing Andujar this would’ve been a very different outcome, lets be honest. Also Thiem is clearly not the fittest person on tour at the moment considering how much weight he has lost.

2021 Roland Garros 3R: Roger Federer [8] vs Dominik Koepfer [59]

And people this guy is going to give Djokovic a challenge?! This is laughable.

    Medvedev's Play for #1

It’s basically confirmed its going to happen at one point. If not next week then definitely during Wimbledon. Medevedev is playing Halle and that already gives him a leg up on Djokovic. Even Djokovic winning Wimbeldon still isn’t enough to stop Medvedev now.

We could have a new No. 1.....

What does that have to do with what is being discussed Here.

    Has Medvedev fooled us all?

I love how everyone is switching up and saying he had an easy draw. As soon as the draw came out people were adamant that he wasn’t getting past round 1, going on about Bublik and Opelka's good clay seasons. People were saying he's not even top 50 on clay and he'll apparently never ever improve...

    Has Medvedev fooled us all?

I don’t know why people decided to write off somebody at age 25. Anyone can improve, the weapons were always there he just needed to figure out how to use them.

    2021 Roland Garros - Men's Singles R4 - Alexander Zverev (6) vs Kei Nishikori

Do I need to tell you about Nishikori‘s record?

    2021 Roland Garros - Men's Singles R4 - Alexander Zverev (6) vs Kei Nishikori

If Zverev bumbles his way to five sets. Its done Nishikori has got this, he has to win in straights or at worst in four.

    2021 Roland Garros - Men's Singles R4 - Daniil Medvedev (2) vs Cristian Garín (22)

Garin might be tired after playing a five set four hour match against McDonald and a four setter today. He also has a tendency to choke in the big moments. Their match in Madrid was close, whatever happens I think this will be a high quality affair.

    2021 Roland Garros - Men's Singles R3 - Daniil Medvedev (2) vs Reilly Opelka (32)

Not really Medvedev has an insane amount of points raked up from the 2019 hardcourt season.

Eurosport Poll:- First NextGen to win a slam

I think people are just saying this because Tsitsipas has the best chance to win the French but Zverev and Medvedev would beat him in the poll if this was right before a hard court slam.

Federer: "Clay is not slow. It is mostly faster than hardcourts these days, people don't understand"

But some people here were laughing when Medvedev compared it to the AO. Funny how the tune changes when both Federer and Nadal confirm this as well.

Roger Federer: Clay is not slow.....

He’s not the only one saying this. Medvedev is saying this and Nadal the king of clay himself is saying the court is playing quicker than usual.
