Sony Tennis Sensor with older Head models

Hi, I have tried to search for this but I couldn't get a clear answer. I have an Extreme IG Pro 2.0. Is the original butt cap going to work with the head attachment (HD1)? Or the XT butt caps/trap door have different shape? Thank you

Is Yonex introducing new line to replace RDiS?

and btw, I asked Yonex the same question I have been told that the frame playing closest to RDIS100 MP is Ezone Xi 98 !?! Did I miss something or the Yonex guy didn't know what he was talking about?

Is Yonex introducing new line to replace RDiS?

What would be the V Core model to replace the RDIS100 MP? I thought it was the 98D, but looking at the specs the 98D it's lighter and less SW. And the 95D looks like closer to the RDIS100 Mid. Anybody can comment on this? thank you G

    Rdis 100 MP vs Vcore 98 D

The problem is that I am in Italy. Not easy to find here. Buying for US is an option, but then the shipping costs are ~50USD :(

    Rdis 100 MP vs Vcore 98 D

i'd like to bump this thread. I am playing with RDIS 100 MP and totally love it. The problem is that I cannot find it to buy and stack up. So I guess at some pint I will have to switch to newere model. Which would be the natural replacement the 98D or the 95D? Looking at the 98D, the thicker...

Pure storm tour vs prestige pro vs prestige mp

if you like ps then i think you should go to ps tour or prestige pro. tour and pro play very very similar IMO I tested all of them. I did like the PS beacuse it's very easy but a little to light. Maybe that's the reason why you don't like your serve. I ended up choosing PS tour. And i am very...

Genesis Black Magic Receives 5th Highest rating ever by RSI

You should not generalize. I bought BM form a friend of mine who is a stinger and had half reel left. Didn't get any for free from anybody. I tried and I liked it. Period. I am not sure if they are cloned. but they play well for me. You are free to dislike them, but do not blame people of...

    Pure Strom Tour GT strings?

I play with the same frame. I liked a lot Black Magic because a great combination of feel and power. I now play with typhoon that gives me a little more control and spin. my 2c G

    transition to red clay

guys, all great suggestions!!! I think I already have a few things to work on now. In fact reading your posts helped me already to identify some problems. In particular: 1. i am staying too close to the baseline 2. I am poorly using my footwork (setting up too early) 3. Hitting hard and too low...

Help me gamplane for an opponent.

ok then this is a pattern I like to play with players who have some troubles with low shots (especially on the FH side). get in a nice and deep rally going and when you have the opportunity get on a BH crosscourt rally. at the right moment hit a down the line slice (maybe with some sidespin)...

Help me gamplane for an opponent.

look at his grips. if he uses closed grips, hit a nice low slice whenever he is out of balance or on the run. you will get a lot of free points.

    transition to red clay

After almost 10 years playing on HC i moved to europe. only red clay here. on hc i play very aggressive baseline game. try to hit winners whenever i see openings. 4.5/5.0 level on red clay i am going through hell. i feel i am always out of position, my timing is messed up, i lost all my...

same experience here. The only difference I was playing with BM first and then tried typhoon and never went back to anything different. I highlighted the part where I totally agree with you word by word. ;-)

    That ol' Black Magic...

I agree with you with pretty much everything. Maybe the only thing I don;t agree with is that BM to me feels not stiffer than typhoon, but the same if not softer. For the rest of your nice review I agree. Typhoon gives me that same confidence to swing out and have full control of depth and...

    Genesis Typhoon hybrid?

Energy is very soft and very powerful and loses tension very quickly. Typhoon is stiffer (I should say less soft) and hold tension very well.

    Genesis Typhoon hybrid?

Typhoon is soft, but still in the poly category so in general stiffer than multi, nylon and gut. RIP is pretty unique because is quite soft but low powered. definitively i will post after i try full bed of typhoon. cheers, g

    Genesis Typhoon hybrid?

I string my purse storm tours with typhoon mains at 57lb and RIP Control 16 at 59lb. I love the setup. great control but the power is there when you want it. The RIP gives some additional pocketing and softens up the stringbed a little. But I will try a full bed to see the difference. my 2c...

    Genesis Tri-Blade

alu is not horribly stiff. it goes dead quickly and at that point it kills your arm. I string both Black Magic and Typhoon in the 57-58 range and they are both pretty soft compared to other poly. BM is definitely softer and with more feel. Typhoon has fantastic control and good spin. But...
