Let's revisit this insane Federer - Djokovic match

Fred strategically not winning any clay tournaments that season to keep himself fresh for RG. Big Brain GOAT stuff.

Who will Rafa want more as A Qf opponent between Tsitsipas and Zverev?

Classic TTW is saying Nadal has less than 0 chance of winning RG 2019, USO 2019, RG 2020 and AO 2022 and should've retired in 2018 to save himself the embarrassment.

Who will Rafa want more as A Qf opponent between Tsitsipas and Zverev?

Zverev still not having a top 10 win in Bo5 is probably the only thing holding this poll back from being a blowout. On paper he's a much tougher match-up for Nadal than Tsitsipas is, despite the Greek generally being the stronger clay court player. He's 6'6" and his biggest strength is that...

Tsitsipas: I personally think he's one of the most professional and the best of them all

Citybus says Novak is the GOAT because he's the most professional. I have therefore changed my opinion on the GOAT race.

Let's revisit the insane Djokovic - Alcaraz match

What's going on with assuming Alcaraz likes fast courts? Just because he won Madrid instead of Monte-Carlo? And why are we assuming slow courts are more of a match-up advantage for Djokovic when he's been killing it on fast courts for years now? We've been talking about him being a better grass...

Let's revisit the insane Djokovic - Alcaraz match

It was his 3rd tournament back already. He was already back in form by the end of Belgrade, he just looked tired. If the Madrid semis still counted as rusty, then so does Rome. Anyone else in that semi and he would've won, then easily beaten Zverev in the final and we'd say he was back.

Let's revisit the insane Djokovic - Alcaraz match

He played fine. He threw everything he had at Alcaraz that day.

2022 Rome Final: [1] Novak Djokovic vs Stefanos Tsitsipas [4]

2022 Rome Final: [1] Novak Djokovic vs Stefanos Tsitsipas [4]

Clay season went from being the most unpredictable and interesting we've seen in a while, straight back to a Big 3 dominating a NextGen just in time for the next slam. It really is all on Alcaraz now. Tsitsipas looking worse than he had in 3 years, Thiem still MIA, Zverev making no...

2022 Rome Final: [1] Novak Djokovic vs Stefanos Tsitsipas [4]

Novak really bailed him out there. Tsitsipas would've just kept hitting cross court backhands until he missed. He was way too scared to try anything.

2022 Rome Final: [1] Novak Djokovic vs Stefanos Tsitsipas [4]

I just don't see Tsitsipas having anything to hurt Novak with, based on the way he's played this whole clay season. He'll need to suddenly play his best tennis of the year if he's going to win this one. Novak's been too consistent since Belgrade ended.

Is Nadal winning any more slams this year, in your opinion?

History will repeat itself just like 2009 when he sold his soul to win that AO and was then hurt the rest of the year.

For men's tennis to survive Alcarez needs to bagel Nadal/Djokovic and embarrass them for the next 2 years at slams

If Alcaraz needs even a single tiebreak to beat this Nadal then it's essentially the same as a loss in my book.
