Has anybody ever had or heard of a USTA adult team having a "coach"? If so, what are their "recognized" duties and limitations? This is ouside of the realm of the captain. I heard of teams having a captain and a coach. I see them (coaches) in state/sectionals championship pictures on...

Ok, it was state (districts if you will), in the Southern section.

There are some local players here who went to finals at state and are shown as rated computer rated (C) vice benchmarked (B). Anybody else have this happen?

See "Busted's" post above.... They released them on Sunday, 11/29/2009 starting at around 6:00 PM CST and going through almost midnight (batches) last year. That means if the same schedule holds true, they come out tonight.

Agree (based on USTA league results) that the quad bump was too much BUT he did play in the D Cup qualifier. That's where some people, especially some current and former junior players don't realize that even if they play a match (and lose) in a satellite tournament, they are automatically...

"quadruple" bump????!!! Note: Looks like their (Southern team) best singles player (initials W.M.) got the "quadruple" bump from 4.0 to 6.0. Google search shows a college player but also played in a Davis Cup qualifier (Kenya?).
