    Leagues/pick up near Haymarket, VA?

So I just relocated from Delaware, which had a fantastic local tennis community. I'm now in Haymarket Virginia and am wondering if there's leagues or pick up tennis spots nearby. My Google search was underwhelming short of joining country clubs. Does anyone know of any tennis at the 4.0 to 5.0...

7g vs Pure Aero Tour vs XT Extreme Pro?

Looks like the 7g will be around for awhile. Once I sell some of my current unused frames I'll try to pick up some PATs and perhaps a 7g, given the favorable pricing of the ProKennex

7g vs Pure Aero Tour vs XT Extreme Pro?

Hey guys, So I've never hit with either of the above frames, but have come to realize that for my competitive play (4.5-5.0) I tend to prefer 310-320g frames. I currently own and use Angell TC97, but am looking to add the above frames to my small collection. I'm wondering if anyone has used all...

    Yonex VCore Duel G

I'm selling my 2. i really enjoy the frame... But I compete better with the 310-320g frames. I already have enough heavier classic frames for my "for fun" hitting. But I'll continue to recommend this frame for those who enjoy the heavy sticks

Unfrozen Caveman Tennis Player - suggestions requested

You will most certainly enjoy the Prince Textreme 95 and Yonex Duel G 330. They aren't extended length...but they're the closest to what you used back in the day.

    Yonex VCore Duel G

Really enjoying this frame. Would love to see more of these out on the courts...but the weight I think deters too many from giving it a fair shot.

85 sq inch racket in today's game

Think of tennis rackets like cameras. The professionals use the fanciest equipment, tweaked exactly to their liking so they can get the results they desire. For the rest of us, we could do that too, but the majority prefer point and shoot cameras for the simplicity. Both take pictures. But only...

Has anyone used the Yonex VCORE Duel G 97 (330g) ?

I think the Duel G is much more maneuverable. I agree..I disliked the G330 because it felt like all the main was in the throat of the frame, making it feel very sluggish. IMO, the Duel G does not have this issue. It feels much better when swinging. I've taken it out with the ol' RDX500 Mid and...

Has anyone used the Yonex VCORE Duel G 97 (330g) ?

I never hit with the Volkl, but you'll enjoy the Duel G 330 more than the Tour G 330. I'm very impressed with the frame. As someone who loves old school rackets but knows he needs modern power, I think this racket feels that space nicely. Plenty of pop, stability and heft.

Looking to upgrade from old Pure Drive team

Keep your Pure Drive Team. That was, and is, a fantastic frame. Easily the best Pure Drive, in my opinion. And I've used every version since that version.

Has anyone used the Yonex VCORE Duel G 97 (330g) ?

Agree with the above regarding the G310. That racket was worthless...it was too light to be a tweener racket, and too unstable to be a player's racket. The G330 was a much better racket, but sluggish. I am currently hitting with the Duel G 330 and agree that it's easier to swing, has more power...

Vcore Duel G Review? Why so long?

So had a hitting session today with the Duel G 330. First impressions are great. It definitely swings faster than its predecessor. The racket has plenty of pop (slightly less than the RF97), great access to spin, and is definitely has great feel. It's less stiff than the RF97, ever so slightly...

Vcore Duel G Review? Why so long?

Not surprising though. Andy's admitted his ideal specs are around 310g, while Michelle prefers heavier frames. I just got my 330 in the mail. In the hand it certainly feels easier to swing and more manuerable than the previous generation. I've yet to take it out to the courts though. I find...
