I asked former world nº1 YevgenyKafelnikov: «are you a Federist or Nadalian?» «Nadalian; Rafa the best thing that happened to men's tennis»

«Nadal much more charismatic than Federer, brings much more energy to the public & will win more...
Murray is a total conundrum for Rafa at the HC slams. He either beats Rafa or leaves him lame for the next match(AO 2007 for example). Rafa's wins at AO and USO was when someone beat Murray before the SF.
Actually, Murray was the guy nobody wanted in their QF at the AO since Murray had reached a slam final on HC before, something Denko has never done at any slam...
About Wilander's comments, if Rafa was going to improve his game to the point that he was going to win AO, Wimbledon and USO:shock:, his claycourt game was going to be affected, that was obvious.
Probably. But he will only regain the #1 for a few weeks.
Well. If he gets a very lucky draw at a slam and plays the likes of Denko and Tsonga in slam QF and SF and scared Murray in the finals, like the last time he won the AO, then yes he can win a slam.
This is not good. Same as with Soderling in slam finals. And same as the likes of Pioline and Mecir in slam finals.:-? Has anyone ever lost his first 2 slam finals in straights and eventually won a slam?
If he wins one it will be the USO. He has lost twice at the finals. He always plays his best game at the USO since 2007 so he could be due there. AO could be difficult because of the heat, unless he gets lucky and plays lots of night matches... Anyway HC is his best chance. RG and Wimbledon, I...
I doubt Fed would have ever won FO on traditional slow clay from the past. Now we have fast clay at the FO and ballbashers like Sod can reach the finals. Not in the past.
