Lighter frames should be strung with lower tensions?

I recently switched from 12+ oz strung weight frame to a 11.5 oz one. Their balances and string pattern are same but head size increased from 95 to 100. I've been using head prestige mp or similar frames and switched to prince tour 100p a few months ago. Swing weights are same, around 325-330...

Any current or recent players known for their volleys?

You are not a volleyer if you feel like Rafa is only an average volleyer. He's got the 1st class reflexes and quick hand. That's why he is a true volleyer.

Any current or recent players known for their volleys?

Thiem said he always feels like the last time Rafa missed a volley was 5 years ago. LOL. Last 20 years or so Rafa is only player who is not afraid to venture to the net on clutch points.

Just realised,Federer never won any iconic or goat tier match..

Federer is arguably greatest front runner. He likes to draw 1st blood and quickly take over his opponents. But he tends to lose lots of tightly contested matches, I mean relatively speaking, as a player who has won 20 slams. For example, he has relatively low winning % as an all time great, in...

    Happy birthday Federer!

You mean you would be amazed by Federer only? Current top slam winning players are 36 and 35. Who knows how long they are going to be active? It's not unusual to see players a few year older than top players. And a lot of players careers are also greatly extended these days and a lot more...

now it's official, Federer is the third wheel

Well, rivalry pushes each other to a higher level and also protect each other in some way, ironically. :) 30 is just unthinkable numbers at this point while 25 is very much reachable I feel. :) I just don't think 20 is enough to be remain at the top of the list for post 2000 era, letting alone...

now it's official, Federer is the third wheel

But Federer has advantages in tennis fans and community because he was the inaugural king of new brand of modern baseline tennis. He put strong impressions into tennis fans and he was the top marketing tool, so to speak, for the new brand of tennis promoted from early 2000s. Now tennis industry...

now it's official, Federer is the third wheel

Pre-open era gives a bit of insights I think. Pre open era had slams and pro majors on all grass courts and 1 clay surface. Of course, you couldn't complete at slams once you compete at pro majors. Counting both slams and pro majors, Ken Rosewall won 24 majors, Panch Gonzalez won 19 majors and...

    Customer Service

I was also told they'd been hit by power outage. Guessing it's pretty big one since I never experienced this much delay in my using TW for about 25+ years In my case, Im not in a hurry with my July 4th order. So I hope TW take their time, fully recover whatever loss, ensuring quality...

now it's official, Federer is the third wheel

I was trolled badly here by a lot of Federer fanatics at this board ~10 years ago when I predicted Rafa and Novak would break all major Federer records and surpass Federer. My logic was that modern baseline game on homogeneous surfaces will produce top players dominating tour heavily and win...

Is Djokovic on course to become the best grass court player of all time?

The GOAT debates often end up into unhealthy taste. Maybe it's better to debate who's greatest in current era, this modern baseline era since early 2000s.

2022 Wimbledon QF: Novak Djokovic vs. Jannik Sinner

i'm saying it win or lose. match fitness maybe. i saw a fighter in yanik when he was a teenager. i don't know how he was labled as mentally weak with recent matches.

2022 Wimbledon QF: Novak Djokovic vs. Jannik Sinner

You will think of Sinner differently after today. win or lose. he lost a few recent tight matches but it was more due to injuries. young guys usually not as strong mentally but I saw a potential of mental strength from a teenager Yanik.

2022 Wimbledon QF: Novak Djokovic vs. Jannik Sinner

i thought Sinner was mentally strong for a teenager when he was 17 or 18.

2022 Wimbledon QF: Novak Djokovic vs. Jannik Sinner

yeah, Yanik displayed what appears to be a mental weakness in recent matches. but he was somewhat injured in those matches. 17, 18 year old Yanik exhibited great mental strength for a teenager.

2022 Wimbledon QF: Novak Djokovic vs. Jannik Sinner

still can't believe this kid has played tennis full time for only 7,8 years. switched to tennis at 12,13? and spent a few years mostly practicing while others playing junior tour. straight into the adult tour and roughly 5 years later a world class. what a talent Sinner is.

2022 Wimbledon 3rd Round: Rafael Nadal v Lorenzo Sonego

Only thing I noticed was when sonego hit passing shot and fell down, he shouted, maybe due to falling down. I think Rafa was a bit frozen at the net, thinking it was outcall or something. I thought Rafa would complain about it but he didn't.

    2022 Wimbledon R16: [5] C. Alcaraz Garfia vs [10] J. Sinner

Alcaraz plays much more mature game at the moment. Sinner is more one dimensional in his strategies and shot selections. But Sinners game has more room to improve and I hope they are developed into a great rivalry.
