    Asics Gel Resolution 8

I have both. Initial feeling when putting on challenger - lighter, a bit wider in the toes, closer to the ground, less plush. I’d say same stability as gel resolution. My feet feel much toastier in challenger which is weird, cause it feels/looks like it should be more breathable…

    Tennis Elbow. Is it curable?

Rest is the key. Mine got cured by itself after a long break in tennis during lockdown... before it I was doing exercises, bands, stretching, braces (everything mentioned here and other places), nothing worked to completely get rid of the pain.

    MY POLY REVIEWS

16x19 as well works better for me. If you really like your Pure Strike, though, you have to be ready to a completely different feel when buying TC97

    MY POLY REVIEWS

I’m not topspn, but I’ll chime in, as TC97 is my frame of choice I also play with ProStaff and tried Pure Strike. So TC97 is playing different. It’s definitely less powered and more control oriented for me. Also requires better technique to generate heavy topspin or slices. There’s no dead spot...

I'm still using TC97 most of the time. K7 Red is also in my bag but mainly for recovery periods cause it's lighter. although I'm not preferring it in general :)

Hi guys, decided to part ways with my TC100 as I'm not using it much. Posted in classified's and *bay. Hope everyone is well and back to tennis!

Both k7 red and TC97 doesn’t really give you any “free” put away power. RF97 head is more round compared to Angells which look more oval

I'd say if you had planned to buy an Angell racquet - this probably would be a good time in terms of supporting their business, cause sales are obviously dropping (most people now are unable to play tennis and a lot are financially insecure)... Otherwise, I wouldn't buy unless they ask for...

@topspn @Rui Lopes Well, my stringing guy measured it on his babolat RDS machine, but maybe the machine is off...it’s pretty old

Hmm, it’s a bit weird. Mine is 299 strung as I learned recently, and I believe I have the same specs (310, 9points HL)...

I hear you - I went same route as you are now. leaded TC97, then have bought same specs TC100 to make life a bit easier only to figure out that it is too heavy/clunky. Eventually I removed all lead from TC97 and it plays just great, maybe I just adjusted to the "dead spot" but I don't feel it...

Sometimes people overthink and "overfeel" instead of playing more tennis ;)) Initially I thought I got that feeling of the "dead spot" on TC97 though...(not on TC100), but after more time playing with the racquet nothing bothers me anymore. I'd say play with any available 100 head size racquet...

63RA and I like the feel. I didn’t measure the SW but it feels kind of much heavier than my TC97 with the same specs, and I need shorter swing-path in order not to be late when hitting for the first couple of sessions.

    The Official Angell Users Club

Yes, it is noticeable first couple of hours of hitting. Also TC100 has higher SW and thus less maneuverability at the net. Nothing one cannot adjust to as long as higher SW works for you.

I prefer TC97. Though, I’m playing with both 97 and K7 Red. The latter one is way less stable and lacks some control for me. Tried to lead it up but couldn’t make it “play” better :)) K7 is a tad more forgiving. In terms of flex - most here say TC97 has a “unique” flex in the hoop. I don’t feel...

We are trying to build the perfect tennis socks...any advice?

How about asking people which socks they are currently using as preferred for tennis. Why. And if they could improve them, what would they do. This way you can analyze and have at least some valuable info. Cheers

    Tennis/Golfers Elbow And Grip Size...

I heard an opinion that inappropriate size in general (either too big or too small) will cause you to tighten up your grip which can exaggerate TE.

    The Official Angell Users Club

Thank you @topspn! What about swing weight/clumsiness - if I pick the same specs as my TC97, would it have generally higher SW because of the head size?

Also can anyone please explain why to compare TC101 with TC97 rather than with TC100?Cause It is an oversized racquet and I would expect it to be somehow closer to TC100...

    The Official Angell Users Club

I found heavier V3 racquets are easier on my elbow. That’s being said, K7 Red was not the best for my TE (I’m obviously a minority here in this regard)...

Hi, I realized that I barely used my K7 Lime since I purchased it from Paul. So anyone interested you can find it at the Bay site. It's mint condition as I only hit with it once or twice for no more than 1 hour in total. L2 grip.

I have/ play regularly with TC97, TC 100 same specs (16x19) and K7 Red. TC97 is my favorite. It definitely plays different from TC100 - more control, a bit less spin, better on volleys. TC100 noticeably more clumsy for me due to higher swing weight ‍♀ Although I like the spin and serves. K7 Red...
