Uhh, I never said I think he would win multiple slams. I'm saying that I believe the only way for him to create buzz is to win multiple slams. That does not imply that it is likely. In fact, I'm just stating how hard it would be for him to create interest for tennis in America.

Truth be told, Shapo hasn't been on my radar for long. But ever since I heard about him, I jumped on his hype train right away. I think that he probably does have a lot more confidence when he plays now, which is why he plays better.

Agreed, his net play is amazing, his groundstrokes are great, his serve is reliable (as far as I can tell), and he's mentally tough. I mean, to beat nadal when you are 18 and when you're down 1 set? Even if nadal wasn't on his A game, it takes serious mental strength.

I haven't even watched him play a best of 5 match at all so my expectations aren't too high. But in a year or two, I hope he can start winning some ATP500s, (maybe even ATP1000s? or is that unreasonable :P), and to start making good runs at slams.
