nah there’s not two ways to create spin. That’s just wrong. It always has to do with the string grabbing the ball. Strings snapping back enable that. If strings were perfectly still you wouldn’t feel the stringbed is very “grabby” at all.

Honestly that also explains the somewhat odd Raducanu performance post USO. Her game just felt different, lighter balls at the USA would do that.
