2011 USO Djokovic vs 2007 USO Roddick

The thing is that many times we heard that Fed is the "darling" of organizers, yet they slowed down the AO and the USO right when his biggest rivals were peaking. They sped up the USO again in 2020, when Fed was not relevant anymore. Not saying it was a conspiracy or something, but it just shows...

2011 USO Djokovic vs 2007 USO Roddick

You are always underrating Djokovic 2007-2009 at the USO :D

    2011 Djokovic in 2007

Tbh Rebound Ace was slicker not actually faster than Plexi in general, but it was faster than the 2011 Plexi slowness blasphemy lol

    2011 Djokovic in 2007

Dunno how 2011 would do on the 2007 USO surface, which was faster than the sluggish 2011 :D

    Some Peak Fed Gems

It was so long ago I don't even remember that one lol

Djokovic still hopeful of playing in Miami

Maybe he wants to break the record there, given that now he is tied with Agassi at 6 titles :D

Bad line calls affecting The Big 3

Abmk knows more about Fed's career than Fed himself and it's not even close lol

    Big 3 peak for peak

    Let's dance :D 1.Let's say RG 13 cause clay is clay 2.RG11 3.Fedr AO 17 4.Fedr Wim 15 5.Let'say Djoko, but it's too close.This is the toughest one and it could well be Fed 6.Nadal RG 21 7.Djoko RG21

    Big 3 peak for peak

Had Fed lost the 2009 Wimbledon, he would have been mocked here big time by his detractors :D

    Big 3 peak for peak

This has remained unanswered at the USO though.I would have favored Nadal in the 2010s conditions and Fed in the 2000s ones :D

    Federer 0-8 @MC+Rome, Nadal 0-8 @Miami+Paris+YEC

Such a shame that Fedr couldn't win Rome, he was so close but still no cigar :D I have no problem with him not winning MC though, although that 2014 loss was such a wasted opportunity.

5 games lost en route to the title

Let's say she would have probably lost 2-3 more games or something withouth that walkover :D
  13. ForehandRF

Would you consider Djokovic a greater Wimbledon player than Sampras if he wins another title there?

So ? It means that they were unable to beat even that version of Fed, nothing else :D

    Which AO SF was worse?

Djokovic appears there too many times lol

It seems that US Open 2017 Rafa path was harder than Djoko AO23 path

By saying that, it means that Fedr at his peak reached a higher level than Djokovic :D
  16. ForehandRF

It seems that US Open 2017 Rafa path was harder than Djoko AO23 path

True but Djokovic doesn't have anyone in his path that can actually beat him :D
  17. ForehandRF

It seems that US Open 2017 Rafa path was harder than Djoko AO23 path

Anyway, as long as Djokovic reaches the SF here, history tells us what happens :D

"To be honest it's not good at all. It felt better in the last match than tonight." - Djokovic after the match

They don't need to play that well; this is not 2011 or 2016 Djokovic :D

"To be honest it's not good at all. It felt better in the last match than tonight." - Djokovic after the match

I won't be surprised if Novak still wins the title. This is his best slam and I don't think the remaining guys are able to exploit any injury he might have :D

AO's slower conditions a response to USO now being faster?

2000s or even 1990s like you mean although the AO wasn't medium slow, more like medium :D

Is Surface Versatility Overrated in a debate of Greatness ?

He's still an ace because nobody has won more titles than him there and nobody has dominated more than him.The fact that Djokovic beat him 3 times later on doesn't diminish what Fed accomplished in the 2000s there, when he was at his best :D

Djokovic v Nadal - Who has the greater mental strength?

    Really ? :D I wasn't aware of this.
  24. ForehandRF

Djokovic v Nadal - Who has the greater mental strength?

I think that one factor is that Djokovic put pressure on Fed's serve more than anybody else :D
  25. ForehandRF

Djokovic v Nadal - Who has the greater mental strength?

Fair enough but the number of matches is the only reason ? :D Do you see Nadal coming back in those 40-15 matches matches had he been in Djokovic's shoes ?
  26. ForehandRF

Djokovic v Nadal - Who has the greater mental strength?

One thing I can say is that Fed never lost after holding MP on his serve, in slams, against Nadal while he did it against Djokovic. Is this a indicator of who has the greater mental strenght or not ? :D
  27. ForehandRF

    Feder - identical mishits.

Of course both happened on clay, no wonder :D
  28. ForehandRF

    An Epic Encounter.......

They were stupid. If anything, in those conditions Nadal is the favorite.High bounce and slower pace and you just don't pick Federer as the favorite in that matchup :D
  29. ForehandRF

Djokovic beat more top 10 players in 6 years than Federer and Nadal did in 9 years

It's not that. One possible explanation would be that the top players were more consistent and it might have to do with the conditions of play that were less conducive for upsets :D
