You need shoes that have stability,shoes like the Asics speed FF that are soft and flexible are a no no..Torneo from Diadora is a good PF friendly shoe.

It's like leather to the eye,I guess it is some kind of really hard and unforgiving synthetic.

BS5,Torneo and now the 2 all have that hard leather up front over the toe box.It is a very hard and unforgiving material which cause my big toe to become black overtime and my nail to be destroyed.Only drawback of the shoe but a red line for me.

The fit is what we all want to know.Are they generous fit?Wide up front with good toe box height?I had to sell my Res8 because they were quite narrow at the middle with my orthotics in them.And no,no wide option in Europe unfortunately.

Rush Pro 3.5 and 4.0 are true to size.The 4.0 feels roomier even because the new upper is so forgiving,plenty of toe box room also !.I compare them to my GelRes 8,SCB and Diadora BS5.
