@Fairhit glad to hear that. How much thicker is the grip than stock?

I tried leather but did not enjoy the increase in vibration. That's why I switched to a heavy synthetic grip to add weight and make the racket a little more head light.

Thank you! Regarding the lead, not sure what you mean by the width of the frame at each point. Are you running the lead horizontally instead of vertically? Or do you measure the width and run the lead vertically as per convention?

What polys are you playing with in the Pure Strike?

What do your frames weigh? Where did you find the memory foam? How must did the foam weigh? I was looking at the ShockShield as well but the added weight was quite a bit. Are you playing with a gut / poly hybrid?

Strung at 53 Triax / 55 Multifeel. First time out the power level was lower. Second time out, the power was noticeably higher. I don't hit with a ton of spin, but the Triax / Multifeel combo is just OK for spin. Certainly a far cry from poly.

@Casper777 Are you still using the Solinco hybrid in this frame? How did it compare to Triax or other string combinations you tried?

I'm finding comfort with the Pure Strike 16x19 with an Advantec grip (quite expensive), Triax / Multifeel strings and lead at 12. Big difference from stock. I am wondering about the difference between the Artengo and Advantec grips. The Advantec grip weighs 22g untrimmed and is 2.3mm thick.

Good idea. Maybe I'll try natural gut. Price increased quite a bit though.

@Trip @netlets Sorry, my comment was not specific enough. My Pure Strikes are 11.9 with a different replacement grip and an overgrip. You both are correct about the stock weight and balance with the stock grip and an overgrip.

Interesting that the stiffness of the racket does not bother my arm. However, the stiffness of strings make a huge difference to me.

Do you use the synthetic or leather Artengo grip? How long have you used the grip? What improvements do you notice with the grip?

So you customized both of your frames the same way, but the weight is off by 4 grams? Also, do you noticed a difference in string stiffness after installing silicone in the handle?

The Pure Strike is weighted in the handle to make it almost 6 points head light and 11.9oz. Typically string at about 50lbs. What is the weight / balance of your frames with the silicone and power pads?

Also thinking of adding lead tape and a leather grip. I read some instances in this thread where players did just that. Can anyone report on where and how much lead they placed on the racket? How did the lead / grip change alter the balance and swingweight?
