Baby Novak - Nadal is beatable on clay

He didn't even say anything about the injury after the match. When asked about the MTO he took, he said it was because the taping around his foot was becoming uncomfortable. There was no excuse whatsoever.

Baby Novak - Nadal is beatable on clay

You're contradicting yourself dude lol You're saying he wasn't injured in the 3rd set and got injured in the 4th which I agree with. That 3rd set ended in a tiebreak. It was a close match until he got injured (best match on clay up until that point according to many). If it was so close until he...

Baby Novak - Nadal is beatable on clay

How can you pinpoint exactly when the injury happened? lol It's not like he fell or something. You admitted he lost his movement before 2-2 but are saying he was injured at 2-2. Couldn't the loss of movement be because of the injury?

Baby Novak - Nadal is beatable on clay

Easy for you to say in hindsight after you already know the result of the match but you know better than anybody not to count Nadal out of any match at RG no matter what the score is. He has made even better comebacks outside of clay, so why are you so sure he couldn't have done it on Chatrier...

Baby Novak - Nadal is beatable on clay

How was it so clear he was going to win at 2-2 in the 4th set? Djokovic was up 1 break at 4-3 in the 5th set in 2013 and he didn't win.

If Novak and Nadal were football players who would dive more?

They played in an exhibition match in the past.

Djokovic is undefeated in AO semis and finals..

Nadal has never lost in the first or second round of the FO ;)

Djokovic is now as unbeatable on Rod Laver as Nadal on chatrier

Just no. He's never even won AO without losing a set.

    The Cube?

Is that a bad thing? I personally would much rather be on site that in a studio.

Nadal's injuries - why so rarely on clay?

Getting hurt on HC and getting hurt on clay are not totally independent events. Let's say a player gets hurt on one surface and they don't play for a few months. When they come back on a different surface, would you say they would be less, more or equally likely to get injured than if they...

It seems that US Open 2017 Rafa path was harder than Djoko AO23 path

Why are Djokovic fans talking sh*t about Anderson when their guy had to play him in a slam final less than 1 year later? lol

All three of Rafa's losses at RG

As if other players don't take painkillers or get injections. Djokovic said he took a lot of them at AO2021 and Fritz had his foot numbed at IW last year. Also, Nadal was never behind in the score against Djokovic at RG 2022. How was that a comeback?

All three of Rafa's losses at RG

We saw what Nadal did to Djokovic when his foot didn't bother him in 2022 ;)

Djokovic: "Only my injuries are called into question".."let them doubt I have nothing to prove to anyone. I have the MRI, the ultrasound and the rest

That question was a followup to his statement about his leg. Were you listening at all? Q: He thought you were very close to your best tennis ever. Do you agree with that accessment? ND: Well, I don't know about ever but definitely best I've played this year, in this tournament, so far this...

Djokovic: "Only my injuries are called into question".."let them doubt I have nothing to prove to anyone. I have the MRI, the ultrasound and the rest

Maybe it would help if he didn't talk about his injuries so much. Within 1 minute of the interview, he brought up his leg when nobody even asked about it yet.

Nadal's injuries - why so rarely on clay?

His stats are about number of retirements that happen mid-match, not about number of clay matches missed. Your argument that I responded to was about why he's healthy when the clay season starts. Are you that clueless? I even put it in bold for you when I responded lol

Nadal's injuries - why so rarely on clay?

I just gave you 2 exceptions that you chose to ignore - last year and 2016. Don't let your hate impair your reading comprehension. There may be more that I'm not remembering right now.

Nadal's injuries - why so rarely on clay?

It's not that hard to understand if you think about the timing of the clay season. 1. If he gets injured after RG, he misses the rest of the season or most of it but he has enough time to recover for the next clay season. 2. If he gets injured at AO and it's not too serious, he still has enough...

Actually mad how much Nadal's draw would have opened up if he'd managed to find some form

I mean people still make threads about retired players in the general pro section lol
