Djokovic: "Tennis is not my priority, my family is.."

never said it looks him less mature. Maybe it's normal for normal people, but it certainly makes Federer look more mature when it's normal for Djokovic.

Djokovic: "Tennis is not my priority, my family is.."

“Then I'm going to enjoy it and try to take as much energy as I can, positive energy to kind of transfer that to the tennis court. But without a doubt, life changes. Priorities change. My priorities: my family, my wife, my future kid. Tennis is definitely not No. 1 anymore.” Do you think this...

Djokovic is 4-6 in recent 10 sets

changing that wouldn't make the gap look smaller. 13 vs. 3 or 13 vs. 2 is almost the same.

Djokovic is 4-6 in recent 10 sets

fair enough. But do you really think he did not give all his effort in Canada? Is this a fact or an opinion?

Djokovic is 4-6 in recent 10 sets

well... where are people who said Djokovic lost Toronto so that he can win the most important one (Cincinnati)?

Djokovic is 4-6 in recent 10 sets

none of the players he's played were even top 15 and he's 4-6 in sets against them.. What does this fact tell? everyone said Nadal is done on clay when he lost in QF in 2 clay tournaments. Djokovic lost in R16 in the last 2 hard court tournies...

Nadal 3 big titles away from matching Federer

How can Nadal and Federer both be UBPY in 2008? Nadal clearly was the UBPY in 2008 with RG+Wimbledon+Olympic combo. BTW, 213 was Nadal's year (UBPY) with 2 slams+ 5 masters> 1 slam+3 masters

    Djokovic is a 1-year wonder

since 2011, Djokovic didn't win any slam outside of AO. Djokovic has won only 1 slam from FO+Wimbledon, the two most respected and important slams in tennis. Djokovic has won only 2 slams from FO+Wimbledon+USOpen, the three most respected and important slams in tennis. Same number as...

Do you think Djokovic has underachieved in slams so far?

this post deserves the title "post of the year". quickly to add onto that: AO 2008: Facing mono-ed Federer in SF (remember mono caused Soderling to retire?), and Tsonga in F? What a lucky draw! Overall, how many times did Djokovic face Murray in Wimbledon? (he's 0-5 in sets vs...

    2014 Rome MS1000 Semifinal #1 -- [2] N. Djokovic vs. [8] M. Raonic

why is Raonic coming to the net at random moments? it's not like Djokovic is winning most of ground stroke rallies. If Raonic just plays rallies without running to the net, he will win.

Are Nishikori and Dimitrov already superior players than Raonic?

This was a huge win for Milos as he now will be seeded 8 for roland garros.

Combining ATP and WTA has ruined the Masters events.

WTA can't get enough fans without combining with ATP. Canada (Toronto/montreal) is the only place where WTA has a separate 1000 event but it's Canada, so pretty much everything is sold out there.

Why are some players' residence different from their nationality?

Yes I have paid taxes. so are you saying making a lot of mondy gives him an excuse to avoid paying taxes at his country? Higher popularity sbould be followed by higher responsibility which is not the case for Mr. Djocovic and that is probably why he is not as liked as Delpo or even Murray.

Why are some players' residence different from their nationality?

Do you think people have the same expectation for you and Novak? If Obama were to do the same, do you think that is OK? Djokovic is like a president figure for Serbs so this is more disapppinting.

Why are some players' residence different from their nationality?

nice try. so paparazzi stopped Djokovic from living in Serbia and that's why he changed his residency?

Why are some players' residence different from their nationality?

it's not about breaking laws or committing crime. It's about being ethical and respectful to your country and not "acting" anymore, which fellow players and tennis fans find disgusting.

Why are some players' residence different from their nationality?

regardless of how much you have to pay, changing your residence to avoid it is shameful enough considering how much Djokovic emphasized that he loves his country. It's just another proof that Djokovic likes to act, confirmed by Janowicz, Gulbis and other players.

Payroll Tax: Spain: 24%-45% + 37% social security taxes Serbia: 35.8% Individual Tax: Spain: 52% Serbia: 25% According to your analogy, tax in Spain is 75%+ There's no argument needed to compare tax in Spain vs. Serbia

Sure he is. So is Murray, Roddick, Hewitt and Safin. also DelPotro and Wawrinka are. There are 50 all time greats. Imo, only Federer, Nadal, Sampras, Borg, and Laver must be considered all time greats and the rest are just grand slam holders. federer= right handed GOAT nadal= left...

Matthew 6:21 - For where your treasure (money) is, there your heart will be also. Djokovic tries to act like he loves his country, but in reality, Nadal loves his country more. No wonder why Gulbis, Janowicz said that djokovic acts and nad is genuine. Do we have consensus here?

Why are some players' residence different from their nationality?

Is that a fact that corruption in Serbia is 50x the one in Spain? Also, the fact that Serbia has corruption can't be used as an excuse. If he can't stand to watch corruption, why not change his nationality then? It's obvious that he's just trying to avoid high tax regardless of whether...
