I use something like this in my Asics Gel Res 9. They help a lot but they bleed whatever color onto my ankle braces/socks when I take off my shoe. Maybe I should buy sport specific ones instead of using my wife's high heel ankle nonslip inserts haha.

    New balance 996v5

I think this is a tough question as it depends on your foot type. I wear a 13 in Nike Vapor Pro 1, Asics, Lacoste and New Balance. NB is noticeably wider for a width D than most shoes I have worn recently. The 996 was definitetly not a glove fit and I typically saw I have an in between D and 2E...

My review (s) of basketball shoes sneakers for tennis !

That makes sense. As I am getting older, I am looking for more support and cushion to alleviate pain or have additional injury prevention. Thanks for this input, helps a lot!

My review (s) of basketball shoes sneakers for tennis !

Would anyone say that basketball shoes have way better traction than tennis shoes? Would not mind buying some way of the wades if it have similar traction. Not a fan of too much traction, but I do hear that basketball shoes have more or better cushion than tennis shoes although much heavier.

Lightest tennis shoe with good cushion

Have you tried New Balance Lav or CT rally? Good cushion, decent heel to top drop, and ample width in the regular D. I wear my Lav 2 for long days on the court and other shoes for matches. Helps my knees, feet and ankles feel decent post workout. Not the lightest if you compare to vapor or FF...

Lightest tennis shoe with good cushion

Can confirm, the Court FF2 gave me pretty sore Achilles. Did not have issues here until wearing through a pair...but also I am pretty heavy as well. So there that too :X3:

    NikeCourt Zoom GP Challenge Pro

Also I think the fit of the pro is slightly more wider. They are both snug…..but the pro is marginally wider. Maybe due to the uppers being more pliable.

    NikeCourt Zoom GP Challenge Pro

Other than slight variation in looks: Threads: challenge 1 has straight herringbone while the challenge pro is a herringbone that kind of goes circular at the toes and heel. Cushion: From what I gathered…the pro does not have a full zoom unit from heel to toes. It only has air zoom units in...

    ATP United Cup 2023/24

I cant please everyone haha. Just referencing his stroke form, particularly on their backhand. Not so much their playstyle, why I reference super compact form! Def different play styles!

    ATP250 Brisbane International 2024

This is so true. If Safuillin can play like this more consistently, he will shoot up the ranking. This happened in their last match that Shelton lost. I think two things led to his win. Big everything: his serve and groundies were just so penetrating. The returns disturbed and caused a lot of...

    ATP250 Brisbane International 2024

I am very curious about Hanfmann. Korda vs Hanfmann - that will be interesting. Korda moves a lot better than Hanfmann on a hardcourt. Hanfmann has huge groundies, serve, good transition game, but his side to side movement on a hard court seems really slow. Put Hanfmann on a clay court, he has...

    ATP United Cup 2023/24

Oh of course, I was just preparing for the potential worse. Yeah his story is kind of insane. As a former college player myself (a bad one though), even if I had the money or skill.....I could never ever stay on tour. After one tournament, I definitely need like 3 weeks away from the court...

    ATP United Cup 2023/24

I honestly did not know folks did not like his form. Yeah it aint pretty, but it works well for him. Sometimes reminds me of Mannarino where its super compact. My coach would always tell me, you should not care how you look as long as its effective and comfortable in the long term.

    ATP United Cup 2023/24

Im afraid to answer now haha........I am just a wannabe tennis analyst willing to get flamed by our message boards. Its more of a hobby of following the tournaments and seeing which player has more potential based on the massive amount of data we have now. In terms of Norrie, I try to separate...

    ATP United Cup 2023/24

my gut told me Norrie would win despite the last 52 weeks stat pointing at De Minaur to take it. Alex has had a hot year followed by slow not as successful years that keep him in range of the top 20. He just could not replicate results from his Hot years. The moment I saw him break that first...

    ATP United Cup 2023/24

My thoughts exactly, he is playing a recent come up in Thiago who had a stellar 2023 for his caliber after being non existent on the challenger/futures tour for both 2021 and 2022. Happens, people have slumps, figure out their game. We hold everyone to the prodigy level like our big 3 or 4 or...

    New balance 996v5

Hey JOSHL, I switched to the Lacoste Ultra LG23, been through about 6 pairs since they started being sold. Love them! They also have the cushion die for me at about the 5-6 week mark. The sole does die at about the 4 week mark though for me so it works out versus having a shoe with dead cushion...

    New balance 996v5

Let us know how it feels in about 2-4 weeks. At about the 3 week mark, my cushion began to die, big cuts or landings were heavily felt in my heels.. I am a big dude by my own standards 200lbs though too, so maybe thats why.

    Any pros with Diadem?

I personally havent used the Diadem balls, just their sticks. I believe someone above mentioned they felt like US Opens or at least the weight.

    Any pros with Diadem?

Just making some deductions here based on pro comments and our comments. If Wilson US open Balls and Diadem balls are considered to be similar, then they are both considered pretty heavy balls no? I forget which Pro player said it about the Dunlop balls, but they increased the weight on these...

    Any pros with Diadem?

I think his name is KP Pannu. He switched from a Wilson Blade, which makes sense since the Diadem in feel is similar to the older pure storms, some current radicals and older blades.

    Any pros with Diadem?

I guess to each their own. I love my Elevates Tour V2s :X3:. I am switched from a Pure Storm Team 2004 98 16x20. The Pure Strikes do not feel anything like it while the Elevate feel like a crispy version of the pure storm team. The Novas to me feel like a muted Pure Drive?

    Lacoste AG-LT23 and LT23 Lite

My highly personal reasons are: Feels Lighter despite the weight: Lacoste plays much lighter for the weight. I would say, the adidas on my feet feels clunky going up and down. Its alright going side to side. Still not my preferred shoe for all court movement. Could be my foot work, different...

    Lacoste AG-LT23 and LT23 Lite

Yes - They have a break in period, but also if after lets say 1 week of walking around in them and you are still in pain...you may need something more custom.

    Lacoste AG-LT23 and LT23 Lite

This is exactly how I felt as well. I used the original insole for 1 hour and my arches were very sore. After I switched to my Game Day Insoles, I felt a world of difference. Hope the shoes work out for you after the insole switch. Sucks that stock insoles are so flimsy!

    Mizuno Wave Enforce Tour

hmmm - I am not sure if its low. But I do get the same pinching sensation I got with the Court FF2s. its probably just a me thing and once the material loosens up or my toes get used to that sensation...will probably go away like it did with the court ff2.

    Mizuno Wave Enforce Tour

Anyone getting toe pinch issues with the uppers when taking a step? Just got my pair in, walked around the house and it was the first thing I noticed. Bottom foot comfort though is phenomenal
