Any players from Seattle, WA? I have just moved a month ago. Looking for partners to play with. Living in Bothell right now and have an almost always empty, ugly tennis court in the complex I'm renting in.

Thanks all for your responses! I was lucky to rent a beautiful apt in Bothell with a tennis court in the complex! Hope, after all business will be done, I will have more time to play around with different people.

Cool. Definitely will return to this question in 6 months. I hope I will beat jetlag soon and will try to come and play on some public courts.

Wow, cool and useful information about clubs. Think I will need an invitation to some private club next autumn. Also, it is not a problem for me to play in cold and wet conditions. Yes, this is not very cool to be wet because of wet balls, but we also have a lot of rainy days in Kyiv.

It's pretty easy to decrease angell's weight. Angell frames contain weights inside the handle. You need just to remove the grip, and then remove/move weights to receive desired weight and balance.

    Moving to Seattle

Hi guys! I'm an NTRP 3.0 recreation player, and I'm moving to Seattle from Ukraine next week. What I need to know - is courts & clubs rules. How all this work in the US? In Ukraine, for example, all courts are paid and should be rented in advance for the cold season. If you want to play in...

Yeap, octane PJ is the bomb! I want to see more octane-like PJs, but with different color combinations, like copper + dark red, silver + light blue, etc.

I can compare the launch angle of TC97 16x19 to the new prestige tour: it is the same. TC97 18x20 will have extremely low launch angle and less power than tc95. I guess it is the most control-oriented frame.

Swingweight. Octane is a little bit more head heavy.

I could recommend head lynx tour. Low power poly with a pretty crisp feel. Or other bold round co-poly like ice code etc.

So. All multi's are too powerful. The simplest solution - is to try a higher tension. Maybe it's a good reason to try poly or hybrid? This will increase depth, but not the power, as I know.

Agreed, to lot of hype around TC95. Definitely will order it just to try this "hype monster". Anyway, who playing with both open and closed patterns. How to change strings while moving from open to close to maintain the same power level? Currently, I'm using round poly on mains (IceCode...

As I can see, they are making huge rebranding - giving new names to their stuff, making new designs. So, I guess we should expect a new generation of K7 Lime or even a huge update on the whole K7 line.

Hm, Angell rebranded their string line. I dunno, but maybe they also have some changes? Curious about the new HALO LIME HEX, looks like old Halo2. Halo Red Bite also reminds Halo4, but it is a different string. And k7 Lime is on sale!

Used to play with Dunlop cx200. Bought a cheap Yonex Vcore pro 97 to tinker around specs and order Angell with the ideal one.

I'm currently playing with tc97 310 320 16x19. Great racket. Powerful enough, easy to play, good control. Perfect spec for a weekend player like me. But a lot more stable than 300g tweeners.

Different frame shape. tc101 has box shape, like tc97, and, in fact is less powerfull than tc100.

Correctly. I have no expirience with rs lyon or hyper-g, but lynx has pretty crisp feel, low powered with good control.

Hi! Can anybody compare Angell rackets power, launch angle, sweet spot size with more popular tweeners? I'm currently playing with dunlop cx200 - It suits me well. And vcore pro 97 - a little bit underpowered, but also good. I'm struggling between tc97, tc101 and asl2. I guess asl2 will be ideal...

Can anyone compare tc97 or tc101 power/control with pure strike 16x19 3rd or Dunlop cx200? I have plans to switch to Angell frames, but just not sure which one to choose.
