Pete and Agassi in 30-40 years range sans the Big 3 would dominate the past two generations

That generation believed in themselves unlike the past two generations.

Pete and Agassi in 30-40 years range sans the Big 3 would dominate the past two generations

I am firmly convinced that if Pete and Agassi in the age of 30-40 years age would annihilate the past two generations sans the Big 3. I would also place my bet on Connors too. Heck, if you take out the Big 3 even right now, and introduce Pete and Agassi in their current age, together they would...

If he was an American, Lendl would be the answer. Hence, the answer is Lendl!

Best player to never win a Slam

My opinion: Ferrer: Everybody knew the real final was the semis between Nadal-Djokovic. Besides, he never had the sting to go for it in the last two matches of slam. I would rather say he never had the potential to win a slam. Okker: Don't know much about him, so no comments. Berdych: Lost in...

Del Potro should rank higher than Wawrinka

As the injury benefit should go to del Potro, I am wondering how nobody gives the mental strength deficiency to Wawrinka in his initial years? So, if he had the mentality of 2014-16 through out his career, would he then be a 10-15 slam champion?

Who is greater: Djokovic or Murray?

Murray! How can there ever be any doubt about it. Laver+Borg+Connors+McEnroe+Lendl+Edberg+Wilander+Becker+Sampras+Agassi+Federer+Nadal+Djokovic combined fall way too short of Murray! None of them broke the great England jinx and in fact were partly the reason for the jinx. Enough said!

    Best player on Grass?

When Djokovic has not only more Wimbledon/grass titles than Murray Wimbledon/grass titles, but he also has more Wimbies than the number of slams won by Andy, it is really a moot question who is the better of the grass players. Please, what is the goal? To win more Wimbledons or to be better...

IW 2019 final: Roger Federer vs Dominic Thiem

Seems nobody's interested in this match :D

Is Sampras salty that Djokovic also passed his slam tally?

No, he was not salty, simple as that.

Federer is 8-9 in GS finals vs Top 5 players

It does not matter how many are those losses. Overall, he has lost the finals only to three people till date: Nadal, Djokovic and del Potro. This is staggering.

2019 Australian Open Men’s Singles Final (1) Novak Djokovic V (2) Rafael Nadal

Congrats to Novak! When Nadal trashed Tsiptasis that badly, I felt Novak had no chance unless he brutalized his semi-final opponent himself. Novak not only did that, he has won in too dominating fashion.

Federer's worst BP conversion in his career

1/17 in FO 2007 remains his worst. I will give this one a pass.

Why does Berdych struggle so much against Nadal?

From 2016-19, for four straight years, he faced Fed+Nadal at AO, and he is not won a single set. That's how ineffective he is against the big guys. @Mustard Berdych's big big mistake was in the 2005 Madrid match when he ssssshhhhhhhed the crowd after beating Rafa. He should have never done...

Prediction: Federer will be demolished in 2019.

I guess that should answer the OP. Yes, Fed will lose more often, but demolished? Don't think so.

Wawrinka, Berdych, Tsonga, Ferrer, Cilic- Who is the best and worst of these 5

How can del Potro be ahead of Wawrinka :o He has been unfortunate, I agree. And then same benefit can be extended to Wawrinka that what would have happened if Norman had happened to him early in life. Also, with three finals, Cilic is way ahead of Ferrer, Tsonga, and Berdych. Likes apart, this...

If Sampras gets 8 in a row at Wimbledon?

The point is not just about 6th being special, but that adding one in between two streaks just does not simply combine them. Well before one goes for 7th in a row or 8th in a row, there is 6th that begs to be resolved. Same Borg beat Mac the previous year, and Fed two times earlier. Building...

If Sampras gets 8 in a row at Wimbledon?

Sampras was nowhere close to a 5th in a row. If there is a drop between two streaks, you don't just add them up. No one in the open era has won 6 in a row, and only Borg, Federer, and Nadal have 5 in a row, with Fed twice. The accumulation is too much of pressure, and Borg wilted the 6th final...

    AO Surface Change

Since 2008-2016 (nine editions), Fed missed the semi's bus only once. Eight semis, 2 finals, and 1 win is nothing less than brilliance for me.

A few things Nadal has never done

Defending a title is no big deal. Don't think Federer has defended a clay title, and yet I think he is so much better than many clay champions and monsters who might have defended clay titles. Take Rafter for example. So what if he has defended the USO, Nadal is a much much bigger USO champion...
