    Haas Vs Blake *forthcoming spoiler*

This is going to be a blockbuster fourth rd encounter. Blake has a 2-0 winning record against Haas, with both matches being played on American soil. I can see this one being a close 3 setter, too tough to call the winner though.

    Blake vs Robredo *Spoiler*

I think Blake is due for a breakthrough on grass. His serve has really improved and that flat forehand should allow him to finish points quickly.

    Ferrero vs Srichaphan *Spoiler*

Ferrero is one of my favorite players, awesome topspin forehand but he does not seem to be delivering in the big tournaments. Infact none of the spaniards seem to be making much noise other then Nadal.

    Blake is The Champ!

Blake is a major force on hardcourts. His ability to take the ball on the rise and hit winners from any part of the court is amazing. His serve looks alot stronger, hence he may just have his best showing at wimbledon this year. That flat forehand should do some real damage on the grass.

    The Tennis Channel Open

Good win for Hewitt. Seems to be coming back to his best form. Would be nice to see a Blake vs Hewitt final. Matches between these two guys is never short of drama and entertainment.

    Croatia - Argentina 3:2

Argentina need to sort the defence out. They let a similar lead slip against England in a friendly int.

    Good result 4 henman

Remarkable, Stephanek was serving for the match in the third and Tim hit 4 straight winners. Henman against Nadal is going to be intriguing. Nadal has had trouble against players who rush the net frequently. Murrays recent heroics seems to have shifted the media attention away from Henman. He...

    Thomas Johansson Out Four Months

How exactly did Ancic catch him in the eye. Was he not looking at the ball or something??. Anyone know the details Tojo made a breakthrough semi at last years Wimbledon. He must be pissed he is going to miss one of his best tournaments.

Federer VS Wawrinka: Dubai RD 1

Stan Wawrinka has alot of potential. His results and rankings are certainly heading in the right direction. He played a superb match against Nalbnadian at the AO, and his one-handed backhand seems to be a real weapon. Certainly capable of breaking the top 10 very soon. He was the only player I...

Andy Murray reminds me of Napoleon Dynamite

Murray is excited to watch because he is very expressive on court unlike Henman. His tantrums and constant berrating of himself are quite amusing. He does insane things like hitting his thigh with his own raquet.

    Memphis Surprises!! Spoilers!

Tommy Haas is in great form this year. He has only lost two main draw matches (both against Federer), yet was very close to winning at the AO. He also beat Fed at an exhibition (Kooyong). It seems Roddick, Hewitt and Nadal are going to struggle to defend points which may allow Haas take the...

He will retire at the end of the year if he fails to find his best form. He is currently a shadow of his former self.

    Nicolas Massu?

Olympic Gold medal, not a minor achievement. Massu can quite easily return to the top 30 if he remains healthy.

Andy Murray = Top10 at end of the year?

Murray has shown that he can give the top players alot of trouble (Fed in Thai Final). He still seems abit prone to running out of gas over five sets. Although he is certainly getting stronger. It will be a good test for him against Hewitt, as it seems Murray stuggles against opponents who give...

    Gasquet is the next Federer

Good point. I would further add that it will be more difficult for Gasquet to become a dominant player as there are other teen phenoms that are showing just as much promise.

Guga to play Davis Cup next weekend.

Great talent went to waste??. How exactly do you work that one out. Kuerten has 3 grand slams and finished yr end number one by winning the masters cup, being one of the few players to take out Sampras and Agassi in an prestigious tournament. He is also top 10, in all time career earnings not to...

Guga to play Davis Cup next weekend.

Guga was due to play in Chile but he suffered a set back prior to the tournament twisting his ankle. He has fully recovered from the injury and hopes to maintain his charge during the clay court swing. Guga is hoping the hardwork he has put in pre-season will help him achieve better results...

    tommy robredo

He handled Blake pretty easily at the Aus Open. Also an impressive win over Safin at last years FO. He is a solid player, capable of posting results on all surfaces.

    Zagreb Indoors- any match

Henman is playing very well, lets not forget he made the semis at the FO in 04 Shame he ran into a red hot tursunov at the Aus Open. The court surface dont really suite Henman's game. Too slow.

baggy vs nalby what a match!

This match had it all. Fireworks going off during the second set which seemed to phase Baghdatis. At one point he seemed to be asking the umpire what was going on. More importantly, great fightback from Baghdaddy. He seemed to loosen up after losing the first two sets, cleaning lines with...

Davydenko - impressive as heck! *Spoiler*

Davydenko was hitting as hard if not harder then Federer at times. Like Marius has stated his movement was very impressive especially moving forward to those Fed drop shots. Davydenko employed a very interesting tactic, by taking the pace off the serve and getting a high % of first serves in...

The Top 5 Stories of the 2006 AO

The resurgence of the German duo Haas and Kiefer. Both players have been plagued by injuried but seem to be right back on track. In addition, I would add Santoro's first grand slam q-final after 52 attempts!.

    Predictions :06 for nadal

The Aus Open has been lacking that certain spark without him. Although Baghdaddy's tear through the draw has been exciting to watch.

    Best BH ever?

During the Fed vs Haas match the commentators were raving about how these guys have two of the most brilliantly produced backhands on the tour. Indeed both players produced some great backhands but no where near the quality of the Gustavo Kuerten backhand. Did you know Safin and Agassi have both...
