28 players arrested for match fixing

That's a good point about Doubles. And since Doubles' pays so much worse than Singles while generating far less attention/scrutiny the tempation and opportunity might be a lot higher in Doubles. The only downside with fixing matches in Doubles is that having to play with a partner might make...

28 players arrested for match fixing

From what I've read, not confirmed that the USO player was Spanish, but the implication is that there's a very high likelihood of that.

28 players arrested for match fixing

A full list of the Spanish players in the main draw of Men's USO last year: (1) Nadal Ferrer Ramos Vinolas (19) Bautista Agut F. Lopez (31) Verdasco Carballés Baena Robredo Munar Granollers (12) Carreno Busta The problem is most of these guys IMO have made enough over the years to create a...

Davis cup Semi finals and relegation

Not good at all. Schnur can't be counted on to win anything. Canada will probably have to win the doubles and hope Denis sweeps his 2 singles. Certainly very possible, but obviously leaves no margin of error.

Davis cup Semi finals and relegation

Is there a reason Vasek isn't playing this match though? With Milos injured, he's clearly Canada's 2nd best singles option after Denis. Is he not 100%, or are they trying to save his energy for the doubles and, if necessary, a decisive singles rubber on Sunday?

2016 ATP Sudden Death League: World Tour Finals (TOP 8)

Thanks. So it looks like with 2,250 points up for grabs, everyone in the Top 8 still has a mathematical chance of finishing Year # 1, and the Top 5 are only separated by 800 points. This is definitely the closest it's been heading into the WTF in the 5 years I've played.

2016 ATP Sudden Death League: Paris

That's for all practical purposes the same as "picking by day" since the Slam schedules usually alternate by halves anyway (except for RG which does some weird 3 day thing for the 1st round)

2016 ATP Sudden Death League: Paris

By round would make it way too easy for the Slams though, especially in the 1st 2 rounds when there are a whooping 64 and 32 matches to choose from.

2016 ATP Sudden Death League: Paris

Because of Locotus' 1st day loss, it looks like Boozyuzi and myself have clinched Top 8 spots already. This also leaves the door open for the current #9-11 in the Race to swipe the #8 spot from Locotus if one of them can win the tournament.
