    Head Extreme 2024 release June/July

That's good because online it looks like a lemon meringue pie and not in a good way. Edit, I'm also jealous that you're there, how's Stuttgart been so far??!

    Diary of a Racketaholic

Wear what feels good! I used to wear a hat for sweat control because I was too embarrassed to wear a head tie, but then I realized I want to wear what feels good rather than make clothing choices based on the imagined opinions of others. Now I wear a head tie

Hope it plays well because I'm not a huge fan of the lemon meringue colorway here and I usually don't have a problem with yellow racquets

@ozbikebuddy I asked a question about when a product is released in a forum geared towards Tennis Warehouse USA. Didn't mean to offend you, would you like to answer the question about Q1 releases though because it was a genuine curiosity Is tennis at its peak in Asia in January, February, or March?

Babolat Pure Drive 2024 Official Thread

I guess this is more of a business related question, but I've always found it difficult to understand a Q1 release of any frame. Wouldn't you rather release in Q4 to catch holiday shoppers, Q2 to catch the college and high school seasons in the US or Northern hemisphere summer swing, or Q3 at...

Tennis Warehouse Playtest: which Head overgrip is right for you?

Mine just arrived a few minutes ago, will throw them on for tennis tonight. Thanks TW & Head, super excited! Edit: got my first match in with the prime tour. Initial thoughts are very similar to Wilson pro (in a good way). More to follow!

Chair ump possibly changed the trajectory of the final with a bad line call.

I thought you were kidding at first because this is so obviously different from clay. First, clay courts are swept often to remove any previous marks and the ball leaves a mark 100% of the time. Second, new balls sometimes leave a mark on hard courts, but they're not reliably present, they stop...

Chair ump possibly changed the trajectory of the final with a bad line call.

Thank you for clarification on it's use next year. Like I've said, I'm in favor of using Hawkeye on clay, but clay is different than hard court because there will be a visible mark and thus theatre. Just saying "no clay mark theatre" won't prevent it. That's why I'm wondering how they'll...

Chair ump possibly changed the trajectory of the final with a bad line call.

So no plan then? My question was what the official policy is going to be next year at RG when Hawkeye goes into effect (I thought I read somewhere that it will be there next year). Will there be any exceptions for marks that appear different than Hawkeye?

Chair ump possibly changed the trajectory of the final with a bad line call.

I'm actually in favor of moving forward with Hawkeye, but I do have a question. What is the plan for when Hawkeye calls it out but a ball mark on clay shows that it was in when standing right over top of it? You don't have that with hard court or grass.

Roddick states he wouldn't be able to beat the top players today.

You said, "Generally high schoolers will not be as adept as someone who has completed college especially in a STEM field. that's the whole point of post-graduate education." I said nothing about comparing high school vs. college STEM in general. I only made the point that ASE mechanics are not...

Roddick states he wouldn't be able to beat the top players today.

We can disagree about Roddick, and there's zero chance anyone in the forum agrees about hypothetical time travel matches between players from different eras (can't prove/disprove), but dismissing him as a dummy that isn't qualified to analyze tennis is ridiculous. I invoked the straw man...

Roddick states he wouldn't be able to beat the top players today.

I've simply raised a question about your premise that tennis pros are unqualified to analyze tennis matches or tennis strategy and would best be left to college-educated people for some reason? Still seems ridiculous and something you can't actually back up. Please continue to attempt shifting...

I know high schoolers working on their ASE certifications. They're highly intelligent, but lack any sort degree that would make them considered highly educated

Roddick states he wouldn't be able to beat the top players today.

According to your argument, you should not trust a certified mechanic to fix your car because after all, they probably lack the problem solving ability you gained through proper schooling. For me, I'll both value the importance of an education, but also realize that it comes in a variety of...

Yeah, I originally objected to you saying that pro players don't know what they're talking about because they don't have proper schooling.

How do you tell if you’re having a bad day or if your opponent is at a much higher level than you?

This^^^. Great answer to the original question. It really doesn't matter how close the points are, what's telling is how you're winning and losing points.

Roddick states he wouldn't be able to beat the top players today.

Yeah, I'm not buying that. I've listened to his podcast quite a bit and from everything I've ever read on him he's roundly respected as a fairly sharp guy. Not saying he's a genius, but I'm not agreeing with you that he's a dummy.
