The shot-stats.com device does look pretty cool. Have they given an estimate on price point?

TW Reviews: NEW Wilson Six One 95 Racquets

I'm curious as to why the specs of the 95S are listed at a Low to Med Power Level and for a Stroke Style of Medium-Fast? If you compare charts of the 95S to the charts of 16x18s and 18x20s, they show that the 95S is less powerful than both? According to the charts, the 18x20s looks to be the...

    Wilson Six-one 95 16x18 vs 18x20.

I use the Black and Gold BLX 16x18 (former PS 85 user) and really like the way they hit (especially the volleys and return of serves). What do you like about the BLX with Amplifeel that caused you to make the switch?

Wilson Six One 95 16x18 vs Six One 95s 18x16

According to the German website, the 'S' version is about 30g lighter and a different balance point. I don't know why they didn't keep the weight and balance the same? It makes me wonder if the it's the pattern or the weight difference that's responsible for the supposed 200 rpm increase.

Is a new 6.1.95 coming or are they being phased out?

The grommets on the bottom 7th and 8th main do not look parallel? Why is the 'S' model about 30g lighter than the 16x18 model? If you want a lightweight 'S' model there are couple other options already available.

I play with the Black/Gold BLX (pictured above) and use gut in the mains and a multifil-synthetic in the crosses.

    Rolled over ankle

I've torn ligaments in both ankles through the years and now only play with braces. I use the ASO braces. Since I've worn them, I've never rolled my ankle. I've had a couple close moments that make me glad that I was wearing the braces.

Shoulder Issues -- Therapies, Surgeries, Etc.

Thanks Pacific lefty! I saw the surgeon today and he said I was progressing normally. He told me to continue to do the ROM exercises for another week and then start with a PT next week. He showed me how to do one of the more painful exercises so that I don't experience any pain. He thought...

Shoulder Issues -- Therapies, Surgeries, Etc.

Pacific lefty, thanks for your insight. I'm pretty sure I was pushing too much. I had no idea what to expect so I was trying to push past the pain (and it was pretty painful). I just hope I didn't reinjure anything. I can't wait to see the surgeon on Monday.

    Rib Muscle Sprain?

Cold/heat have different purposes...cold is good after you exercise to reduce inflammation. Heat is good before you play to warm up your muscles. In any case, I think you may want to try to build your core (stomach/back) for a while and see if you can do that without pain? You should be...

Shoulder Issues -- Therapies, Surgeries, Etc.

Pacific lefty, I was hoping you'd reply as I noticed that you had a similar procedure to mine. I forgot to mention that my surgeon also cleaned out the bursa as well. Since you kept a diary, I was wondering if you could tell me what your Range of Motion (ROM) was like when you first started...

Shoulder Issues -- Therapies, Surgeries, Etc.

If that is the case then we may as well delete this thread now. However, I think there is knowledge to be gained by sharing our experiences on this board. Some experiences may be relavent, some may not. It is up to the reader to determine what, if any, action should be done with that...

Shoulder Issues -- Therapies, Surgeries, Etc.

Ok, Posture Guy, if you look through this thread you'll find plenty of knowledge being shared. I gave my type of surgery so I don't think it is too out of line for someone else that underwent a similar surgery to answer my query based on their experience. That said, to satisfy you, I'll...

Shoulder Issues -- Therapies, Surgeries, Etc.

Thanks for the advice. I'm in Minnesota. Most of the exercises I'm familiar with, since I did the PT routine before surgery. However, it's not clear to me what level of pain I should be experiencing right now while I'm doing them.

Shoulder Issues -- Therapies, Surgeries, Etc.

Hey Folks, I just had surgery in my right shoulder last Tuesday (Aug 14). They did SAD, and removed a couple bone spurs. While they were in there they found a small tear in the rotator that wasn't on the MRI, and I think they fixed that, too. I don't see the doctor until next Monday but I'd...

    Opinions Please

I'm not big on the shinny red plastic looking material. I'd rather see the red material be the same as the black. Also, you might want to list the features. Such as breathable separate shoe compartment, thermal racquet area...etc.

    Problem with SP LITE (Edge)

Thanks for the help. I'll try these ideas and also call SP today. HitItHarder, Your post helped my diagnosis. I do hear a difference with when I set the machine to backspin (like one of the wheels in increasing speed), but I don't hear any of that when I put the setting on top spin. I was...

    Problem with SP LITE (Edge)

I bought an SP LITE in February, but since the snow just came off the courts I haven't been able to use it until today. I immediately noticed that there was a problem with the "Spin" feature of this machine. It will do Back Spin just fine, but when I put it to the Top Spin setting (full level)...

Anybody tried the new Silent Partner Edge series yet?

Thanks marsh. I wonder if the amps are enough on this one? It looks like only 6 amps per channel. I'm also looking for a more details on the install for the feed and sweep function.

Anybody tried the new Silent Partner Edge series yet?

Can you provide anymore details about how you attached the relays to control the feed feature or were you referring to controlling the power switch? Is controlling the sweep possible, too? Thanks!

    Computer Rated DQ

As I said in a previous post, I was told by a former league coordinator that they lowered the DQ rating from .2 over to .1 over. I've seen more self rated player DQ'd and also more players that have appealed receiving DQ's. As Javier rightly pointed out, a Self Rated player receives their...

    Computer Rated DQ

A teammate of mine was DQ'd after Areas, which probably cost us a trip to Nationals. He played almost exclusively at doubles (the partner that he played with 95% of the time was not DQ'd). He had about 8 years of 4.0 computer rated history. Most of us were playing playing both 4.0 and 4.5...
