What model do you have? Could you take a picture of the circuit breakers? I couldn't find any on their website. Thanks

Where are the circuit breaker? Is that the black round button on the panel? Never used it nor could I find anything in the manual.

    Best Tennis Ball Machine

How did you burn the circuit board? One possible way of killing the circuit board is having the balls stuck between the two main wheels before the wheels reach enough RPM to shoot the balls out, when there are balls loaded in the turret before the main switch is on. It happened to mine once...

    My Tennis Ball Pressurizers

Same here. I chose not to mess with the ball lock but drilled a hole on the lid, put a rubber valve stems, and it's done

Balls stuck in Silent Partner Ball Machine

This is probably a good fix. Very helpful. Thank you!

Balls stuck in Silent Partner Ball Machine

Not likely. I've tried to repeat this with multiple balls, they all get caught between the edge of the white bin and the turret

Balls stuck in Silent Partner Ball Machine

In any load conditions, not often, about 1-2% of the chance. You may see longer intervals between two balls, when the ball is squeezed up leaving a spot empty, or sometimes 2 balls come out the same time when the ball is squeezed down into an occupied spot. Speed of the next ball is...

    Best Tennis Ball Machine

Stroke wise, a ball machine is well worth it, for consistency and convenience. Downside of a ball machine: 1. Battery life. I can get 800 shots in one charge/practice but I was hoping/planning for 1000-1500. 2. Maintenance and issues, see my recent post: Balls stuck in Silent Partner Ball...

Balls stuck in Silent Partner Ball Machine

From time to time balls get stuck in this position between the white holder and turret. Battery gets drained fast when this happens. Is this a known issue? Anyone has a fix?

    Catch net or ball collector

I love the idea too. My SP Edge has a capacity of 200, I usually load 220. Plan to expand it to 300-400. The only bottleneck is ball retrieval.

    Catch net or ball collector

air compressor would be definitely an overkill

    Catch net or ball collector

Is there any catch net or ball collector that can be installed permanently in a private court or temporarily in a public court? Not the ball mower or robot, but something on the fence or in the back of the court.

Design flaw of Silent Partner feeding path

A ball can be caught between the white cover when the black rotor in a right position (as in my picture). The ball doesn't go up nor it goes down. It doesn't necessarily stop feeding but may spit out 2 balls same time after a noticeable delay. I'm trying to heat and bend part of the white cover...

For those with ball machines - What do you actually bring to the court with you?

Silent partner 220 balls in plastic bag Racket Half gallon water jug Landing net GoPro on selfie stick with hook Enough warm up on the way to court

Design flaw of Silent Partner feeding path

there's no delay of feeding thus balls may jam the main wheels before they rev up thus fry the battery/motor/controller

Design flaw of Silent Partner feeding path

Pretty sure it is correct unless the machine shoots balls in storage mode too

Serve speed estimate if balls crush into fence?

The mesh sizes are not identical

Design flaw of Silent Partner feeding path

As the feeding wheel turns, this ball will squeeze slowly through under the white bin into the next spot with another ball. Both balls will launch nearly simultaneously following a long delay and obvious slow down in velocity as the battery voltage drops when squeezing the ball.

Serve speed estimate if balls crush into fence?

Yes, all flat in the picture. But I realized today kick serve and top spin shots tend to dig into fence more. Thanks for pointing it out.

Serve speed estimate if balls crush into fence?

    maybe should get a radar

Good point. Thanks. Is the mesh size standard?

    Drop test of recharged balls

Drop from 100", they should come back to 53-58". Result is quite promising. ~90% balls meet the lower limit, much better than control group.

Fast, portable, high volume (100+) ball collector idea?

Working with ball machine, the capacity is 200+. Very nice but collecting balls is PITA. The balls usually end up in front of the net or the fence of the other side. Now using a fishing net but still slower than optimal. Need the solution faster (if can gather the balls while playing)...

Which Tennis Ball Machine To Buy: Silent Partner Smart or Lobster V Elite Grand?

95mph is more than enough for most players, if not in a serve. On average, a professional tennis player hit the ball between 65-85 mph, depending on the type of shot. Serves are usually the fastest, ranging from 120-150 mph whereas backhand is the slowest shot, averaging from 60 to 75 mph. The...
