    2017 Paris - General Discussion

LMAO exactly! Isner always looks tired himself! Not a valid excuse.

2017 Shanghai SF - [1] Rafael Nadal vs [4] Marin Cilic

I actually like his overall physical tools better than Delpo but Delpo is the ultimate competitor. More heart than Cilic IMO

2017 Shanghai SF - [1] Rafael Nadal vs [4] Marin Cilic

Cilic has the game to test Nadal for sure but I think mentally he has a block against the best players(he is one himself). Plus with Federer potentially looming? He'd rather bow out to Nadal in the Semis than get embarrassed in another final.

    Good call buddy

    Djokovic ranking drop potential

Well like I said everyone would call me crazy but when the new rankings come out he will indeed be outside the top 5.

The Year of the Fedal: Finally we get a 2-2 Split!

Come on dude Fed is at least second. Saying Fed is third is just disrespectful even if he won many slams against scrubs such as Bagdaddy

Time for womens tennis to have Bo5 final.

No..just no. I remember watching Wozniacki play early in the tourney and in the THIRD set both girls looked to be on the verge of fainting and Woz was actually in tears on one changeover. They were both pushing serves in at 70 mph.

Shapovalov will be a slam winner

It's so early to tell but in all likelihood he will win multiple. Think about it he's an 18 year old he'll be relevant for the next 15 years if he stays healthy. Already has a great mental game to me. Never really gets down on himself Like many other next gen players do(zverev, kyrgios, coric...

2017 Montreal SF - [WC] Denis Shapovalov vs [4] Alexander Zverev

This semi is much more exciting than the first one. Amazing to see Fed still doing it at 36 but you can't help but feel excited by the play of some of these youngsters.

2017 Montreal SF - [WC] Denis Shapovalov vs [4] Alexander Zverev

Must be tough for Zverev out there as well. Crowd applauding after double faults.

2017 Montreal SF - [WC] Denis Shapovalov vs [4] Alexander Zverev

No but wait a few years and see how he develops. Zverev who is just two years older is showing a lot of maturity. He could easily be trying to match the younger boys flash but he is keeping it simple and executing.

2017 Montreal SF - [WC] Denis Shapovalov vs [4] Alexander Zverev

His second is pretty solid to me. It could go a long ways in improving but he will get better.

2017 Montreal SF - [WC] Denis Shapovalov vs [4] Alexander Zverev

A lot of truth from p mc right there on Shap. He may make a few terrible errors but he doesn't get down on himself. A lot of times that's what separates the young guys from the vets

2017 Montreal SF - [WC] Denis Shapovalov vs [4] Alexander Zverev

Why does zverev look like he's either on drugs or got 0 sleep

2017 Montreal R3 - [1] Rafael Nadal vs [WC] Denis Shapovalov

Woah woah most people recognize this kid as being pretty good and know he should be a force soon but thiem has still accomplished more let's pump the brakes just a little
  16. Nick Lynch

2017 Montreal R3 - [1] Rafael Nadal vs [WC] Denis Shapovalov

Haven't been able to watch the full match but Shap looks to be defending even better than Nadal

I must admit..Fed should easily win RG

How I know Federer hasn't looked in peak form (Zeverev collapsed Fed was not GOATing) but when the big title is on the line I don't see anyone else beating him. No one is playing consistent enough (raonic, Murray, djok)in my mind to do it in best of 5 and Fed is too clutch. As a Nadal fan I am...

2017 Halle SF - [1] Roger Federer vs Alexander Zverev

Indeed Federer has not looked to be in peak form but I think he does just enough to win tomorrow. Two tight sets with probably a tiebreak in the mix.
  19. Nick Lynch

Is Rafa now the favorite to win Wimbledon?

It remains to be seen how Fed will play from the long break but I expect him to be ready to go for Wimbledon. I'd say Federer will be the favorite with Nadal second come time.

    2017 FO F - [4] Nadal v. [3] Wawrinka

Let's ask ourselves what was more impressive. Nadal giving up 7 games to the second best player on clay this season or Stan going the distance with Murray who hasn't won jack s h i t and is 4-4 on clay this season (coming into RG)? Also it's pretty obvious who has been in better form this year...

    2017 FO SF - [4] Nadal vs [6] Thiem

Tough ask for Thiem on this one but he certainly has a punchers chance. He'll have to stand in like he did today on the return of serve especially. Still I like Rafa in 4 in this one.
  22. Nick Lynch

    Pablo Carreno-Busta who is he?

Yes impressive win. He does love the dirt doesn't he?

Just because we are in the midst of the French Open didn't make "Le Bron" French lmao

2017 Madrid Open Final - [4] Nadal vs [8] Thiem

Rafa should definitely play Rome. Best of 3 set matches won't take a toll on him and Rafa plays better when confident. Match wins will get him that confidence.

2017 Madrid Open SF - [2] Djokovic vs [4] Nadal

I don't see why Novak insists on coming forward when he loses almost every single net point

2017 Madrid Open SF - [2] Djokovic vs [4] Nadal

Like I said yesterday. People were crazy to say Djokovic would win. He is terrible.

Nadal in straights. Djokovic is terrible.
