    New Paddletek Paddles

With the discovery of the new TKO-CX models having ‘lead balls’ placed on the sides, and especially Chris Olson stating their paddles started rattling after a few hours of play, this is a deal breaker for me (found out after I posted the above request). I’ll stick with my DBD for now.

    New Paddletek Paddles

When will Total Pickleball have the new paddles available? I think there is some kind of exclusive launch deal with a competitor, but I like TP’s service much better and will wait, hopefully not too long

    My Arm’s Killin’ Me Smalls

It did, though I did some stretching and massaging of my forearm; when I played tennis, I switched to Tecnifibre X-1 Biphase strings for my then Aeropro Drive, and that helped my elbow tremendously.

    My Arm’s Killin’ Me Smalls

I think grip size is a factor: the. Vatic Pro I tried had a 4 1/8 grip vs my just-discontinued Selkirk Mach 6 (Vanguard v2). It seems a lot of companies have a mix of grip sizes, which makes NO sense, and the trend is to move to the smaller grip size. I played well in the past with the smaller...

Any alternative to Asics Gel Reolution but lighter?

From what I’ve read, the 2023 Barricades are much better than prior models; curious on these vs the GR9

Any alternative to Asics Gel Reolution but lighter?

Does this apply to the 2023 Barricades? I am currently using the GR8s, and I love the stability but don’t necessarily love the weight - the Barricades are a little lighter, are they as stable?

    My Arm’s Killin’ Me Smalls

I don’t try to kill every ball, but as the plow through on the Vatic V7 wasn’t as good as my Selkirk Mach 6, I was swinging harder, and also added lead tape to try and make up what I was missing from my go-to paddle (the Selkirk). The handle also seemed thinner and I did play more than normal...

    My Arm’s Killin’ Me Smalls

I strayed from my Selkirk Mach 6 (Amped v2), to a Ronbus R3.16 and the Vatic Pro V7 16mm, and my arm is KILLING me. It’s like going back in time when I dropped my string tension, changed to a multi in Technifibre X-1 Biphase for my the Babolat Aero Pro Drive tennis racquet. Im going back to the...

    XSPAK CRBN1 knockoff

TripleB: the problem I had with the Crbn 1 was the handle shape, similar to when Head used to have the rectangular shape for the Radical and what I would call normal for the Speed lines (can’t stand the rectangular shape). Has this been ‘fixed’ with the new 1X line?

5.5” for 2hbh just ain’t right for a tennis player

Selkirk Vanguard Mach 6: 5.875” long handle; plus, the handle on Crbn seems like the old Head Radical tennis racquet handle shape, kind of rectangular-ish X not a fan

Overgrip(s) with Best Non-Crappy Finishing Tape

I posted in the Other Equipment section, but wanted to get your opinion, TW. I bought my usual 50-pack Wilson Pro overgrip and noticed they added 1) a clear “extra” sticky tape piece that does nothing other than to add stickiness to the outside of the finishing tape; and 2) are very stretchy...

Latest Version of Wilson Pro Overgrips

I recently purchased a 50-pack of single overgrips and noticed that 1) there is a new clear tape piece over the top of the single tape strips that seem to serve no purpose; and 2) the tape is really ‘stretchy,’ and if it’s hot out, molds to the handle/overgrip itself and is hard to pull off. Not...
