They did a black Ezone PJ. Only logical to follow up with a white Vcore PJ.

Recommendation well cushioned stable clay shoes

I am enjoying my diadora b.icon 2 quite much. Very stable with good cushioning. Used to wear Torneo 2 but had a lot of heel slippage when not using runner's knot. I would say b.icon has slightly less cushioning than Torneo but much better heel support. Another shoe I really like is barricade...

    Diadora B.Icon 2

I take back the durability comment. I had about another 20 hours on court and the outsole held up quite well despite the rubber feeling somewhat soft. May be due to the tread being super thick.

    New Balance - Fuel Cell 996 v6

More like a V5.5 to me. Design very similar to V5. Don't know why NB rushed to call it a V6.

    Your Favorite Non-mainstream/Niche Rackets?

I would guess so but I did not play with an Extreme MP long enough to give a fair comparison.

    Your Favorite Non-mainstream/Niche Rackets?

Oui. Much more powerful than Extreme Tour. Spin-wise I found Extreme Tour to offer more because I could generate faster racquet head speed with it.

    Your Favorite Non-mainstream/Niche Rackets?

Just to share that regarding grommets I tried Blade 101L V7/V8/V9 grommets and they all fit BLX Steam 100 perfectly - with V9 grommet set being about 4 grams heavier than stock and V7/V8 version tho.

    Swing weight

Like rlau said, I meant to ask about the 0.1 in the 1.1. But thank you for pointing it out.

    Swing weight

Just curious, how did you measure the 0.1 in swing weight? The machines I used could measure to 0.5 at smallest.

    Uniqlo apparel

Only thing nice is the video commercial on screen...all the clothing look borderline ugly to me.

    Swing weight

Close to zero. Weight added to the handle has nearly no effect to swing weight unless you add a ton (exaggerating a bit but you get the point).

Do “matched” babolat racquets have matched swing weight?

I bought a pair of PSVS with only 0.3g difference in static weight but 6 points apart in swing weight. To be fair the marketing material does only promise static weight difference within 1g between the "matched" pair.

Does that grommet need replacing and is a damaged/bent grommet dangerous for the racket frame in any way?

More specifically if the string directly touches the frame the string could break at that touch point and the frame material could be damaged by the string (tho very slowly) from ball hitting.

    Your Favorite Non-mainstream/Niche Rackets?

I am using a OHBH and I actually played with the extended LiquidMetal Instinct Tour XL for a few months. The experience with it on my backhand was indeed not good due to the clumsiness from its high swingweight (around 340) and maybe also the extended nature of it. The Steam 100 however...

    Your Favorite Non-mainstream/Niche Rackets?

I bought a BLX Steam 100 about four months ago out of curiosity due to so many WTA players playing with its mold. I have since bought another 3 and switched to them as my main. They offer good balance of power and control and improve my game most when I am at defense - when I am in full-out...

Does that grommet need replacing and is a damaged/bent grommet dangerous for the racket frame in any way?

No. As long as it is not cracked and the string touches the frame directly you are fine.

Looking for a more friendly racquet coming from 6.1 Tour 90.

A one-hander myself, I used 1st gen Tour 90 (the black and yellow one) and then K-Factor 90 for about 8 years combined. Tried many racquets afterwards and had the best results with the following: 1. PS97 - all rounded. best volley racquet I ever tried. a bit unforgiving outside of the sweet spot...

Adidas padel bags look amazing, will the release a tennis version?

Just to report back after I pulled the trigger on the Fila padel bag - it actually fits two racquets (both 100 headsize) with the handles sticking out. Looking really cool.

Adidas padel bags look amazing, will the release a tennis version?

Anyone on the forum have any luck fitting tennis racquets into padel bags? Like with hoop inside the compartment but handle sticking outside. If yes, how many does yours fit? I recently fell in love with the design of a Fila padel bag but they don't have a tennis version of the bag. Can't...

    Diadora B.Icon 2

Another four hours on court. Still minor toe jamming but not bothering much. Overall quite happy with the shoe. Could see myself both train and match in it. The thing I like least about is its breathability. My feet starts sweating 30min in. Also durability does not seem to be the best as I can...

    Diadora B.Icon 2

Played two hours in a brand new pair today. Toebox does indeed feel a bit jammed for my medium-wide feet and my big toe ached a bit afterwards. Other than the toebox issue the shoe fit well and felt incredibly cushioned, almost like stepping on mattresses. My pair of B.Icon 2 are half size up...
