    How would Fed beat Nad?

I think Roger has a real chance of beating Rafa on clay this Friday. He's beat him the last 6 times they played. That and the confidence he's been gaining with a very good clay performance this season, beating Stanimal in a tightly contested 4 sets, he's really reaching the best he's ever been...

We can all agree that Nadal will beat Federer's record now.

"Federer is focusing on the larger picture by skipping clay"

Not “Other” players. Just older players who have played enough to qualify the exemption rule set by the ATP. I think you are the very small minority, if not the only voice of objection, against allowing players who have played over 10 years or more on tour to decide on their own schedules. IMO...

"Federer is focusing on the larger picture by skipping clay"

That’s a bit harsh to say, considering there’s over hundreds of professional competitors in the field. I would agree he’s the best thing Tennis has to sell, ever, but certainly not the only player worth mentioning. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I Stand By Roger: Flight of the Golden Eagle of Victory

Not the first time the McEnroe brothers have done this. You can almost sense the bitterness in their commentary when Fed won.

Federers Rally-Revenge vs Nadal at the AO Eight Years Later

Nice job. You clearly knows what you are talking about. A lot of BS and word twisting and very, very little useful information. I know people like you. I've seen enough of your like in this forum.

Federer fans: Can we still dream Federer is going to win another Grand Slam???

I don't think too much of it. I'm just glad he's still playing and I treasure every single match that he continues to compete in.

Federer would have lost to McEnroe and Borg, insists Becker

It's impossible to say for certain who will beat who. The type of equipment are different. The trainings are different. The court surface are different. The skill set emphasis are different. Too many different variable added up to create players who are so different and yet about the only...

    Some facts about Nadal

He didn't get his injuries by accident. They are a result of the accumulated wear and tear that is part of his pro tour. Every pros endure the same amount of wear and tear. He is not above it and you can't use it as an excuse.

If Federer had his Pete Sampras moment at W 2012...

Haters are useless people who are jealous of other's accomplishments. They have less accomplishments in their lives and they can't stand others who achieve more. Sour grape mentality. Nothing new and nothing worth noting.

Federers Rally-Revenge vs Nadal at the AO Eight Years Later

If you bothered to watch the video, you would know what I said is true. Fed hasn't lost that much speed, compared to his 2009 self. Nadal has lost tons of speed, compared to his 2009 self. Are you dense or is your brain on crack?

    Is Shapovalov the real deal?

That really depends on what you have in stored for the future, doesn't it? If your version of the future never materializes, is it still the future for you?

Federers Rally-Revenge vs Nadal at the AO Eight Years Later

I don't know what you are trying to pull here. I made an objective observation from the 2 videos. Nadal is clearly slower now compared to 2009. Do you have a problem with that comment? Fed hasn't lost that much speed compared to Nadal's loss. That is also clearly evident. Are you blind or...

Federer would have lost to McEnroe and Borg, insists Becker

This guy is a bad manager of his own life even though he had a decent ATG career. I wouldn't put too much stock in his opinions.

Djokovic will be 100% ready for Indian Wells

I agree with the observation. After a much prolonged time away from the courts followed by a botched comeback, I would say speak as little as possible or make as little promise as possible. Get well and train harder than before, come back and let your results do the talking. I remember Rafa...

Federers Rally-Revenge vs Nadal at the AO Eight Years Later

After watching the 2 rally, I see a more pronounced decline from Rafa, rather than Federer. Rafa was much, much faster in 2009, both in terms of foot speed and racket head speed. While Fed really hasn't lost that much foot speed or power.

    Update from Djokovic's FB page

Just a gut feeling, mostly came about because of Novak's negative posture and attitude, in the court and out. That and him coming back prematurely. He's ready, he's not, he's sure to be ready again? If I were him I wouldn't be putting out 100% positive comments right now, especially since he...

Tennis writer exposes blatant favoritism and conflicts of interest in Australia Open

To say it's favoritism is to say a closed roof favors one player vs another. The closing of roof exerts the same type of condition onto both players. As a professional tennis player, you have to train yourself to prepare for either type of playing conditions, whether it's outdoor or indoor.

Federer - How many more slams can he win?

I think Roger's at a place where none of us can fathom. His needs in tennis is very different now. He's playing without care, without trepidation, without agenda, and certainly without any misgivings. Best guess, he'll play simply for his love of the sport and the spirit of competition...

Will Federer and Djokovic ever play again?

For the match between these 2 to live up to its billing, Novak would have to be completely healthy. In Novak's current form, Fed in his B game will take out Nole like yesterday's trash.
