I think paradox was ok in terms of snapback, game changer has so much grip that it more than makes up for it in spin though!

Finally tried this at 56lbs on Vcore 98 and absolutely loved it! Insane spin keeping the balls in, while being comfortable. Didn’t feel any wild launches, which was my main worry with such sharp mains. Need to check tension maintenance as the week progresses but I can see myself using it more...

I tried Wasabi Pro with crosses 2lbs higher than mains and thought it reduced launch angle more than Id like. Same tension mains/crosses is what I would do

I would think Hyper-G would be closer to Lynx Tour, rather than Lynx. LT is way more controlled/stiffer than Lynx

Hyper-G and Confidential are favorites of mine... spinny but also controlled and so reduced chance of wild launches. For shaped polys though, I have to string crosses at the same tension as mains or I have a very hard time controlling the ball. For round polys, I actually enjoy stringing...

wow -- I find Wasabi at 55lbs super plush and comfortable. Have you ever played with Lynx Tour, Confidential, Hyper-G? Those are all much stiffer than Wasabi

I am excited to try the Extreme Pro 2.0 too... but out of the 3 spin-friendly 98s (Vcore 98, Aero 98, Extreme Tour), the current ET is clearly the least stable in stock form. I think Head does itself a de-service to make a racket that requires customization to play as well/stable as the other two

I find Lynx Tour stiffer than Confidential... I agree with Tour M8 being softer though -- you feel the ball on the strings much longer and it's very comfortable. I'd go for Tour M8 3 lbs tighter though. Overall, I prefer softer strings at higher tensions than stiffer strings at lower tension...

I find all of Toroline polys very soft compared to the rest of the market (ALU, Confidential, Lynx Tour, etc). Even Super Toro is on the softer side of the spectrum to me. I string Toroline strings in the mid 50s to be able to control the ball

I do 54-55 on P97... you can probably get away we 50-52 on the P97D

agreed! LT is very controlled and consistent. It's a string I can use any day for any match and be happy with. I find LT a bit stiff though. Zero has more spin, but I find it hard to control unless I go up to 53lbs+

I had radial tunnel syndrome too -- I find toroline and grapplesnake strings to be quite comfortable compared to old school polys. I am playing with almost no pain

Love the olive green on Percept 97! Best thing about Tour M8 is the directional control while being so comfortable. Ball stays on the strings much longer than Lynx Tour/Confidential

Id definitely strung Wasabi higher... I like Lynx Tour at 50lbs on my Percept 97; with Wasabi I do 55 lbs to get a similar level of control
