mfil 300 or lm radical ?

M-fil 300 feels lighter and flexier and offers more power and more spin than the lm radical, but it has less feel and less control due to its open string pattern and its higher power level.

Any complaints against the nsix one 95?

The Ncode N-six-one is one overpriced HEAVY 2 x 4. No feel.

    Flexpoint Prestige vs i. Prestige

FP Prestige mp is a tad lighter than and almost as stiff as i.prestige mp, but it still lacks the classic Head feel of the i.prestige.

    Something similar to i.Prestige MP

Vince, I also like the i.prestige mp a lot, but it was getting a little too heavy for long matches. After a long but unsuccessful search for a lighter replacement, I got a little creative by trimming the i.prestige side bumper guard from each end by 2 inches, leaving the grommets in place. You...

    ProStaff Classic 6.1: Opinions ?

Nice racquet, good combo of feel, control, and power. Can be hard on the elbow due to high stiffness. A tad heavy, particularly in the handle. Arm fatigue after 2 sets. Definitely a classic player's racquet.

    about shaving down bumper guards

Just trim the bumper's 2 ends an inch or two with a pair of heavy duty scissors (of course, you have to remove the bumper guard from the racquet first). Then finetune to desired swingweight with a bit of lead tape if necessary. Makes a huge difference in balance and swingweight.

    Skills or Equipment?

haha, amazing! (how many points/hits were actually played on the broken string?)

Will i ever found my Holy Grail?

From my experience, choose your racquet based on its flex, head size, and string pattern that you like, as those are fixed variables that you cannot change. A static weight and balance not too far from your comfortable range wouldn't hurt either. However, balance and swingweight are pretty...

Have an o3 tour mid! Nice Frame!

XL refers to eXtended Length (ie, >27 in.), nothing to do with headsize Play by the number, don't get stuck up with the Mid vs. Midplus Labeling (self ego-boosting) game. Focus on your game, not on some marketing ploy.

anyone hit with the yonex ultimum ti-80?

Ti-80 is a nice player stick for an all-court game. Very good balance and stock weight, more solid and "crisper" than the rdx's. No hollow feeling. I like it better than the rdx 500 mp. I would use a thin string like Gosen Micro 18.

    Fischer Pro #1

Thank you for all of your responses. The PN1's that I'm buying used come with customized grips (the handle was made bigger, so hopefully the grip shape would be more octagonal or rectangular, without the odd buttcap.) As for the feel, I kind of like the crisp response in Head racquets. Do the...

Thanks hampshire6 for your response. If Fischers are more muted than Wilson or Prince, how do they compare to Yonex or Volkl in terms of feel?
