Sounds like a nice setup! Do you know the SW? Did you ever try it stock without the lead at 2 and 10? Its already quite a beefy frame and this weight could be slowing down the serve. You could even put that weight into the butt to alter the balance and keep the static weight similar

I put 6 grams of lead tape under the bumper, from around 10.30 to 1.30. Then added a wilson leather grip. Feels good to me, but I didn't try other setups

I have the same issue. I have 2x very closely matched UP 16/19 but 1x has the ping-y sound. Quite annoying. I'm going to ask my stringer if he has any ideas on the cause

When would the new Ultra be due to release?

Not great for those overseas either, who use a forwarder. I have to try and sell off the ones I don't want (usually at a disc.) and eat the shipping/customs costs. Expensive process, when Wilson could just ensure they're in a specific g/sw/bal range

Thanks all. The racquets are same model, same length, same string pattern etc. I'm leaning towards this being some type of variability in measuring. They were measured on different days, different staff member etc. I might be best to get them both remeasured at the same time

Thanks String was the same combo (alu power/nxt hybrid) in both and added 14.9g and 14.7g respectively - so seems the weight of the string v close SW was done on a yonex precision scan. Not sure if the reading is slightly different depending on how much of a flick you give the racquet to start?
