I recently received the reds. I have the white/black and noticed the difference in material; the reds feel more breathable. Also the interior of the red's is reminiscent of the V's. The red's feel larger and the heel taller.

Do your buddies' other shoe tongues fall the side? I'm guessing they fall to the lateral/outside and that this is not a shoe issue, rather it's from either over pronating, flat feet, or the foot's shape.

RW doesn't actually cut the shoe in half; they were just showing for demonstrative purposes.

I'm sure there's a way so that fabric doesn't have to cut: rounded calipers I too, when I pass through more shoes, will continue to measure.
