Krajicek over new balls and arm injuries

In regards to the ball, I believe that at least for the US Open they use two different kinds of balls; one for the men and one for the ladies. The men uses what they called a "heavy duty" ball where it is heavier and is meant to slow the game down a bit, whereas the women uses a "lighter duty"...

    Hewitt & Ivanovic

You can't possibly get past the isometric head.... you just can't paint a racquet to make it shape like square when the nblade is OBVIOUSLY round.

    Any Pros Using Latest Rackets?

Ivanovic uses the real nBlade, with a few lead tape added to the top of her racquet. As with the players in the Prince line-up I guess (with a few modifications)? Because it is so hard to lie with their O-ports and the shapes of it too!

    New Wilson nCode nTour Two?

Lindsay has said before the season ended that she will be testing new racquets during the off-season, and she may actually change for real in 2008. The reason according to her is that she has been playing with the same racquet for the past 10 or so years (or more) and that she has seen...

    New Wilson nCode nTour Two?

I like the nTour 2 as well... But I don't think they would take a product that is about to be out of date and do re-design rather than releasing ktour.

Hingis playing with blacked out Babolat!!

It is not as easy as it seems, different materials have different properties. Depending on the mix of materials they use in the frame, the geometry, design, etc, it makes a whole lot of difference. Different design characteristics (such as a flat beam vs. round beam), materials (composite...

    Mauresmo New Racket

I will believe it when I see it. Especially when you use so much exclamation mark in your post. I just don't believe things if people are either too enthusiastic about it in real life or people use too much exclamation mark in their messages on the Internet.

    Have adidas dropped petrova

I don't think it's that weird. The rejuvenated Mary Pierce had no clothing nor racquet contract during and after 2005. However, Petrova is still wearing Adidas shoes. P.S. Best wishes to Mary and the surgery she had.

WTA pro's and their "tweener" frames

Well let see you try to get a form like that. In a match, where every shot counts, they just simply don't have the time to setup, the result is often they look as if they do not have perfect form. However, if you give them a floater, and when they hit a winner, often these shots are lined up...

    About the RQS-11...

I personally don't like it, but it is a really personal thing. I find it a tiny bit too powerful (but it also has to do with the demo config). But all I can say is that this is a really soft hitting racquet (as in it flex a lot), power-wise, this stick has plenty. I find it a little to control.

    Pro's using newly strung rackets

Me too! YUMMMM!!! NOTHING HITS LIKE A NEWLY STRUNG RACQUET AT 58lbs! LOL! Seriously! It feels good, shots stay in a little bit more (because the older one lost too much tension).

    Clijsters' PureDrivalgia

Between the ball and the racquet, I would say the ball more. Ever hit with a Slazenger on hard court? Those things are just horrible! But seriously, it has more to do with the way the game is played nowadays, yes, equipment does attribute to this problem a bit, but we can't entirely blame on it...

    Clijsters' PureDrivalgia

You can't always blame your racquet people! Consider the power game that is played nowadays, especially with the players now using their wrists to generate that little bit of extra pace (look at Justine H-H for an extreme example), it is not hard to understand why players get wrist injuries so...

does sharapova really use pro hurricane?

I am also using Pro Hurricane (17 main), Xcel Premierre (16 cross). But Pro Hurricane does come in "natural" color, just that the color only comes in reels. The prepackaged ones are blue. Because my stringer asked if I wanted blue string or not, and I strongly opposed the blue string idea LOL!

    Serena

There is no way that the racquets are a pj of the old racquet. The reasons are 1.) The shape is distinct, if it were a pj of her old racquets, the head shape has to be the same or at least close to the same. Because as soon as you change the head shape, the characteristics changed. 2.) Powerhole...

    Babolat Pure drive

maybe finding a pro spec and copying is not the best thing because these kind of thing is very personal and it really depend on your physical condition and many other factors such as ball used, surface, etc. So find your specs by tweaking it (such as adding/subtracting lead tape, try strings...

I'm A Man And I Play With A W Racquet -- Does That Make Me A Sissy Tennis Player?

Oh! BTW, make sure you put the M on the black-out racquet if you ever decide to do so!

I'm A Man And I Play With A W Racquet -- Does That Make Me A Sissy Tennis Player?

IMHO, these racquets aren't designed so that women can escape or temporarily pause their periods or any puperty issues, or other women issues while in a match. They are designed around women physique such as grip (which ladie's hand are a little bit different from guys), power (which the female...

    James Blake's 2006 gears

I think Prince does have this tendancy to give "experimental" racquet to players. I remember before the Diablo came out, there was this experiemental racquet thing going on on their website. Having Jennifer Capriati and another atp guy (I forgot his name) using it. It was all painted black, just...

    Wilson nTour

well I think they are actually the same racquet. "Midsize" being the older designation of the "Mid". That is because when I demoed the nTour 95, it clearly says "Midsize", but then when I called to my local shop to order one and pick up. They said there is no "Midsize". And when I was there, I...

Who uses their fav players racquet?

I use Lindsay Davenport's nTour 95, but I just didn't pick it because I like her. It was because I tested a few racquets and I found I like the nTour the most.

    New Wilson nCodes for 2006?

Hi, I am a new member here. I just want to say I have been asking this question too. There is also another player using it (his name is Djokovic), check this link out. http://www.gotennis.com/news/photos.aspx?PhotoID=29189. haha I don't know how it plays, but the black on orange on white...
