Gianni Clerici has died age 91

Reading his book 500 years of Tennis started my interest in the history of our sport. Now i have an extensive library with all kinds of books on tennis, and Clericis book still has his place. I guess it‘s time to read it once more. RIP Signore Clerici

Dunlop Revolution NT Tour 97 18x20 - Anyone heard of this racquet?

In the end all this pro stock business doesn‘t matter to me;) what matters is that i found a racquet that plays like an old-school frame. For me it´s like an extension of my arm. You got me thinking about installing leather grips though

Dunlop Revolution NT Tour 97 18x20 - Anyone heard of this racquet?

you can spend an hour reading through old threads here on TW talking about it. Obviously the mold was used by players like Mauresmo, Blake or Haas amongst others. according to members who seem to have that knowledge.

Dunlop Revolution NT Tour 97 18x20 - Anyone heard of this racquet?

I own 8 of the 18x20´s . they are hard to find here in Europe, nobody´s selling;) the NT line is being discontinued by Dunlop, as it doesn´t fit into the Srixon product line. Couldn´t agree more with Hunky Punky´s description of the frame. Old school, very soft(RA58). I can play it with full...

    Wilson Prostaff ROK 93

this is a quote from TW playtest from many years ago: "Granville, ever the connoisseur, did not find the lack of power in the ROK a problem, saying, "yes, there is a slight drop in power, but the result is a racquet where you can hit out and enjoy good depth. Passing shots are a real treat, as...

Thoughts on this Checklist for Junior Tennis Players?

The one thing i noticed particularly, is that they start their training at age 3. while it is essential to start very young, i wonder whether their is any statistic about at what age the current generation of pros started their training. In other words, is it too late to start at age 5 or 6?
